Great video, yeah I was really excited for the Jujutsu Kaisen dub and I'm still bummed that it turned out soo bad, I can't really explain it, It's like the voice actors themselves don't even know the meaning of the words they're saying, like they're just reading their lines out loud like a kid in school does, there's no emotion or a sense of "context" to their entonation. And in the scenes where they do try (just because they have to, the character is literally screaming or grunting) it comes out like you said, incredibly forced. I know it's a popular word to throw around nowadays but I legit find myself cringing at times when watching the dub for JJK, wich doesn't happen to me once when watching the dubs of Mob Psycho 100 (Reigen carried that dub HARD) or FMABH. But at least it is serviceable, the jojo dub however, oh boy.
