I startet with 41 chains but that are 20 hols (without counting the corner) and then the second part of the pattern does not work. I than started with 39 chains / 19 hols and now it works.
Hello. Nice pattern. Thanks for sharing. I have a question about the shells pattern repeat. Your video stops after doing the four rows. When you start the repeat over again, (row 5), are you skipping one chain like you were skipping mesh stitches in row one? Or after putting 9 dc into a chain 5 do you then put a sc into the next ch 5 space?
Hi Stephanie. Sorry for my late reply, YT put your comment into a spam bin... As soon as you are at the end of row 4 and you have chained the last 5 chains, just make 1 single crochet into the arch made of the 5 chains of the SAME 4th row and then continuously carry on with the pattern (= repeat the 1st row of the pattern by crocheting those 9 double crochets into the chain of 5 + 1 SC into the following chain of 5...and repeat).
