Hi friends!
A little while ago I decided our apartment bathroom was feeling a little drab. I wanted to give it a complete makeover but we're renting so I'm very limited in what I can do & what will be easy or difficult to change back when we move out.
So instead of doing a complete overhaul (like I wanted to do) I settled with a mini makeover instead. I would save myself some time & money & update the things I could without creating a problem in the future.

This video is nearly 1 year old & I'd like to say thanks for watching to any new viewers/subbies 💗 I'd also like to point out that this was a quick 'makeover' with little resources. A good deep clean & lighter colors can go a long way in a drab apartment bathroom! I'll have to do an update soon to show you guys how much the space has changed in a year ☺️

overall I didn't see much of a difference beside you took the trash out. It is too bland for me and needs pops of color through out. Sink is still cluttered

Girl use febreze if you like it but may I suggest a box of wooden matches the sulfur in them works better then any spray in my experience.
Love the sign but the title was a bit much especially because it wasn't a makeover, you just added a piece
I could've added an LED light and done more of a makeover than this waste-of-time BS 🤦♂️
I will , given lots of ideas to alter my daughter's rental flat here in England making it more homely with expense of damage
+barbara kidd oh good! I'm so happy I was able to help ☺️ we live in an apartment as well & it can be tough to make it a home without being able to do a lot. When we move out I'll most likely post tips on how I patched/fixed anything we did after moving in.

That hand written sign looks so good. My brother got decals in cursive and put get naked on the side of his bath. It looks really nice as well. It is definitely an attention grabber. Even though getting naked is what you do to get in the shower people are initially shocked. lol

Oil based paint does matter! If you dont properly prime underneath with gesso it'll eventually eat through the material you paint on

if you can just move the shower curtain down to avoid water coming out of the shower. Or add a second rod behind the new curtain and hang it lower. It really looks nice.. Great DIY's
+The Decor Diva thank you! I've thought about removing that rod, it's one of those extra space curtains but it's drilled into the wall in the wrong spot so it makes the curtain stick out way too far 😕

+Begoña I The polycrylic helps to keep that from happening, so far its holding up very well but Ive been thinking of moving it so you can see it better 😊

Thanks for the tip about outlining the letters with a sharpie I done a sign the other day and was struggling to get straight lines with the paint! Will definitely be doing that with my next one.

+Ilene Gauthiers I used picture hanging hooks that you can get at Michaels. You can usually find them by the command hooks & they're rated for different weights ☺️
