I absolutely agree... someone told me on Twitter that Valiev was being defensive- well ya no sh*t, Nolf is attacking every 10 seconds, how is Valiev suppose to reset for his own attack 🤣
I enjoy watching Nolf Wrestle, he is insanely good. Credit to the guy that beat him. Nolf has to be one of the top six or seven in the world for the weight but to move up to the top spot he is going to have to work on his set ups for takedowns.
Intermat has him listed #10 and this guy he lost to is #7. I would put a few more guys ahead of Nolf personally since there are several 74kg athletes missing who recently competed with big victories over ranked wrestlers.
@@JOWrestling I do not know anything about the world rankings but if he can get as good in freestyle as he was in folkstyle you have to think that he should be able to hang with anyone including Jordon and Dake. Some of the foreign wrestlers are awesome though. Incredible skill level.
@@joef3423 yes Nolf has a lot of talent but I dont think he's as engaged in it as Dake and Burroughs. He trains in BJJ also and wouldnt be surprised to see him fight
@@anggorodarmono1975 you dont understand wrestling if you think attacking air is offensive... just because someone looks like they're being offensive doesnt't mean they actually are.
great analysis!
thank you!
first stepout pt should have been awarded to Nolf - elbow hits before foot.
yes agreed but it wasnt going to make a difference in the outcome
but there is also the king of this weight Sidakov!
yep!
traditionally in this weight there is a lot of competition
yes toughest weight
Valiev constantly caught him on counterattacks. So Nolf had no chance against an opponent
yes... Nolf attacked so many times, it set Valiev up for his attacks
amazing head and hands defense

Chermen built habit to overly defensive
He is quite offensive when he wants, but not enough
@@JOWrestling 32 - 5 is overly defensive

@@JOWrestling thanks for the analysis, i put in chermen Insta account so he can understand that he has been so long being passive and defensive
attacking the air = attacking fleeing opponent right? hahahahaha
he chose the wrong tactic
Quality over quantity
