- I have been a long time fan of Torras cases and recently I tested their new 360˚ rotatable ring case. This case features a rotatable kick stand that claims to work well with MagSafe charging. I just returned mine. Loved the ring but my 15 Pro Max would not charge in my wireless charger in my Tesla Model Y. I purchased the other Torras case where the camera frame opens to a stand. Works perfectly!
I feel like using the wireless chargers in Tesla is hit or miss. Hard to charge my iPhone 12 with a rhinoshield bumper
I have an older version of the torras case, same quality and materials but with a bar kickstand at the bottom. I love it, best case I have owned. I have a metal plate attached spearately to use with my magnetic car mount. So I've been looking for a new case that has a kickstand and megnet built in. (Having a kickstand has now become a must for me) However, I always hated all these "ring holders", especially because they would stick out of the back of the case or phone, and I never found the ring to be useful, since i would never hold my phone by the ring. I also never charge my phone with MagSafe. This 360 torras case is a game changer though. I still would never hold my phone by the ring, I'd use it solely for the kickstand aspect and the magnet. The fact the ring is presses flat to the case is a plus.
Appreciate the feedback! I've grown to like it and recently got the same case when I upgraded to the 15 Pro Max. Another kind of useful thing is you can pretty much stick your phone on any metal object. Like the other day I was working on my washer and I was able to use the magnet to stick to the washer and then use my phone's flash light to see. Like you can stick the phone to a fridge or a lot of things magnetic. Not super useful but sort of like a side benefit of the strong magnets.

Hey man! Is the ring flush or does it stick out a little?
The ring is flush, but the camera bump protector is raised about 1 to 2 mm.
Will the rings allow phone to stand both completely vertical and horizontal even when inserting color buttons? Thanks!
Yes, you can actually stand it up 4 different ways, 2 vertical and 2 horizontal. Horizontally, you pretty much go from about 90˚ to 0˚ flat and anywhere in between. For vertical, the most you can get is up to a 60˚ viewing angle. In other words not straight up and down.. If I need to film myself, I'll stick something under the kick stand to get a steeper angle on the vertical video. It's still going strong after 4 months, however I figure I'll be pre-ordering the next iPhone in a week or so. Thanks for the question!
I think it’s a great idea but all my MagSafe accessories go around and around so that’s not so nice

It's probably in the middle somewhere. Measuring the side, it's about 12 mm where my phone is about 8 mm. Overall it's 2 mm thicker on front and back, which adds some protection of the front glass. With the camera bump, it's 14 mm total thickness.

How would you say the protection for this case is? Does it have rubber cushion on the inside frame? Also how grippy is it. Im thinking of getting this one.
Great questions! Inside the case is the same material. It's similar to like TPU material. It's rubbery but more on the durable side. It feels comfortable in the hand, but not as grippy as a very soft rubbery case. The kick stand is great. I can't do a phone without a kickstand now. I bought the same exact case for my iPhone 15 Pro Max that I unboxed over the weekend, and it's in that video as well.

I have a black matte Casekoo that is very similar to this case and it shows every fingerprint when I touch it. Part of the reason I have a case is to limit fingerprints. How does this case do in limiting them?
I just checked the back of mine and as far as fingerprints go, there were only just a few light smudges but not really noticeable. If I look very closely I can see oil residue from my fingers and daily use. I currently have the same exact one but I've since upgraded to the 15 Pro Max.

I think they are just plastic that look metalish.
I have a similar brand case… except the back of my phone heats up after charging for 10 minutes on a MagSafe charger.
While I haven't noticed any excessive heat while charging. Quick charging over MagSafe can produce some heat. I sometimes see this with a third party Apple Watch charger I have. Like my watch will be almost hot after using that thing. I wonder if the magnets in the specific case you have is interfering with the receiving coil, which makes electricity from magnetic fields, leading to reduced efficiency and increased heat generation. Again, I don't think the TORRAS case is causing any over heating, as I surely would have noticed by now. I've been using it for over a year now.
@@EricCosner I’ve not had any over heating issue with past cases until I got case. I’ve yet to try it on a apple only MagSafe charge

Is the ring stable enough?
For its size, I continue to be impressed by it. I'm using it as my daily case and have it in the vertical position on my desk pretty much everyday.

@@HenReviewsit's still going strong! I did bend it the wrong way one day when I was in a hurry, so now mine don't close 100%, but it's barely noticeable and it's still charging fortunately.
