Used this to recolor the skin of a painting to match my skin tone so I could use it as a profile picture. This was really straightforward and comprehensible.
1:11 alt/opt + backspace doesn't do anything, the color is still there. edit could not be filled because the history state does not contain a corresponding layer
wow man, i've watched a lot of photoshop tutorials but your is the best, the way you just simply showing things without unecessary montage and show all the tricks like fast zooming is just so helpful that im under 3rd minute of this tutorial and im typing this comment. Great work man
Hi Tarczownikov! I really appreciate you writing this because it means a lot. It's really what I'm trying to do, to compress all necessary info into most simple explainable content and short so not to waste people's time unnecessarily. Thank you!
@@ninjagraphics1 Even when I have it to #F0000 and still nothing but now I think this technique doesn't work with black. But maybe you can prove me wrong? Thanks.
@@thattrippydudeonyoutube7273 Yeah it doesn't work with black because it simply takes the hue from it. Otherwise it would look totally black and wouldn't be able to see the skin at all.
Brilliant video, so clear! Thank you for adding all those extra tips on zooming, I definitely learned something useful. And the way you teach! There should be more Photoshop teachers like you on RUclips! Thanks so much!
Make sure you select the White area on the right side (Mask) and not the gradient color itself. Then simply color that area with black. Let me know if it works.
fucking Godly....i learned SO MUCH in 13 minutes in 57 seconds. you are the one we've all been looking for. drill those shortcuts home. drop them in every video. i want those shortcuts to engrave themselves in my brain and become the nightmares that haunt my dreams EVERY...SINGLE...NIGHT.

when i change the blending to normal, the image turns gray. not the color I picked
Could you check if your file is in RGB?
At the top bar press Image -> Mode -> RGB
to make sure that it's not set to grayscale.
Thaaaaaaaankkkk uuuuu!❤
thanks
This won’t work with dark colors for me
very helpful! thank you!
Thank you so much for this, this has helped me figure out how to patch up bodypaints for cosplayers. You're a lifesaver. Brava!
That's a very interesting application. Wouldn't imagine it being used like that! Happy to hear this!
@@ninjagraphics1 use that tuto for the same reason haha
only one RUclips vid tutorial I found useful of changing skin color so far.
Which app is he using??
why is my image turning grey instead of black when i paint it?? Thank you!
Depends which stage you are referring to.
Maybe your color is selected grey, or your opacity is not 100%.

Hahahaha hands down craziest and most flattering comment I've gotten. Thank you
Anyone else here to figure out how to change race?
All the moving around with the zoom makes you feel sick
Physically inaccurate nonsense.
