I really agree with you that BestArc are the very best Plasma Cutting machines, and indeed available at very reasonable prices. I'm a full-time scrapper using plasma cutters almost every day. My two 80 Amp BestArc cutters are for sure the best cutters I've had so far. On full power, 80 Amp, they can cut through up to 28 mm steel.
Gidday Pete! I thankfully discovered this other channel you have last night - it's great! I binge-watched a whole lot of them. You should add a link to your other EXCELLENT channel about NZ too. Cheers, Steve
My dad bought Cut50 off eBay 10 years ago or so and never used the dang thing. It didn't have pilot arc either. I sure would never need anyone to explain the benefits of having a plasma torch. All the cutting methods have their specific uses with pros and cons, but the pros are stacked pretty high when it comes to cutting sheets. Also you can cut weird shapes that would be near impossible with an angle grinder. BTW>The old fella has gone on now, it'll be a year on the 28th. He always loved watching you Uncle Pete! We laughed and farted the whole time!!!
I bought a Best Arc welder as recommended from Pete it might be on the lower end of cost but it’s runs good and it’s quite. Now all I gotta do is figure out how to weld sheet metal
Hi Pete! First thank you for all your videos! Very useful! I’m thinking of getting a plasma cutter, but my space is very limited, so could you tell me what’s the smallest air compressor I could use, in terms of gallons, psi and cfm? Thank you so much!
Plasma are awesome use it more often than acetylene torch and cheaper than acetylene torch I got the 7 generation bestarc but only been able to cut 12mm is there a trick to cut 16mm
I bought my Parkside built in compressor touch arc flame from Lidl here in the qeer old corrupt UK 🇬🇧 for £149.99..5 yr guarantee...Lidl also sell a pilot arc torch complete for this model that turns it in to a pilot arc machine for £35.99 but this isnt available in the qeer old corrupt UK at the moment and can only buy it in Europe..Germany..Netherlands..France etc
I bought a Lotos plasma cutter, it lasted a couple years. Then the damn thing stopped working. So I bought another Lotos, thinking that maybe it was something that just a problem with the way we were using it. I used the new for about 20 minutes, and then bloody thing quit on me. Lotos company sent me a new one and that lasted about 2 minutes and quit. So now I have 3 of those damn things and none of them work! DO NOT BUY LOTOS!

@petestools the company said they would send me another one. I told them to just make a check out to me for a couple grand, for all the frustration they put me through. The company never contacted me!
Danger fears this man

Pete, I'm after a plasma cutter but don't have a compressor, can you recommend one with an internal compressor. Thanks.
I can honestly say I’ve never had a disc malfunction on my plasma….😂🤣😂
lol funny
Hey Pete, I have started stick welding can you give me some advice with stick welding?
Alcohol and power tools, that's a good mix.
Plasma are awesome use it more often than acetylene torch and cheaper than acetylene torch I got the 7 generation bestarc but only been able to cut 12mm is there a trick to cut 16mm
Can you please explain what a back R Sole is?
Pete for God's sakes sir i put this video on to fall asleep to 🤣
I only need a metal to cut. Serious question, does it realy consume 50 amps on 240 volts? that requires a deticated power line.
Has a built in power inverter
if you can run it on a separate circuit works best .I normally plug it into an oven plug has higher amps.
Best way to use the plasmer cutter best to use the angle grinder will piss the neighbours off
It comes up as $660 in Australia
Looks more like $539 ....if it was $189,I'd buy it right now😊

I saw this at 999 views and had to watch just to bring it up
How many dam plasma cutters you got pete,Wana sell one for very cheap
I don't know how they make the plasmer cutter for the price
what is electric cost plama vs grinder look numbers on meter then do 3 strips with each sort of thing, also you got buy compressor thats added price
most guys have a compressor .Once you play with a plasma cutter you wont go back
Only for thicker steel. Many plasmas have their own air supply that will get you through thinner stuff. So that's an option.
What the heck pete i just had a look was 536 Aussie bucks 😮
Price is usd mate
If you add a decent water filter trap in air line your Tips will last a lot longer
yea have a water trap
You dont have the correct flange plates on your angle grinder for the discs you are using.
yes i do
@@petestools I had the same issue with the centers breaking out till I changed the flanges to larger diameter flanges such as these.

Pete. Are you planning on robbing a cash in transit van?
G'day pete
Hows your day going ?

Three plasma cutters and not a single one to show for it? That might just be the start of a new horror movie: "The Plasma Cutters That Couldn't!"
@petestools the company said they would send me another one.
I told them to just make a check out to me for a couple grand, for all the frustration they put me through.

Well the price didn't last long (if at all), $526.00 on your link,
