Bro those holes in the desks are total hazards. Any child could stick their finger in there and get it stuck for way longer, or it could even break a child’s finger. This happened to me when I was in 1st grade on a playground at my moms work she worked at a preschool and they had to call 911 to get it out and the fire department used oil to get it out

In 1953, we were shopping for back-to-school shoes fir my brother and nephew at a large major department store when my little sister got her head stuck in a hole in a wooden display case. It took the efforts of a lot of people and partly dismantling the case to get her head out. A few years ago I was back in that same shoe department and I noticed the same display case, only they had put metal tubing down through the holes in a decorative manner, making each hole a semi-circle instead if a circle. When I played innocent and asked the shield salesman about the difference in the display case, he told me that a little girl got her head stuck in one of the holes many years ago so they added the tubing so it could not happen again. I laughed and told him I knew the story about the little Girl, she was my sister! We had a good laugh about it when I later told the family that the department store still had the same case but had modified it to keep children from getting their heads stuck in it.
I swear, little kids come up with the most creative ways of getting in trouble. When I was really young, I had the bright idea of climbing through the rungs of a stool. I got stuck and firefighters came to the house to get me out. Even at that age I felt embarrassed that it had to come to that.
hearing her cry out in pain makes me think of my 4-year-old niece and even my 1-year-old niece her sister aww poor girl I would pull that desk apart with my bare hands to get them out especially the baby

I was crying in pain and principal came picked me up to see if she can pull it out but it won't come out. She told me to sit on her lap while my teacher tries another way to pull it out, my friend Joshua was so worried that he ran to me too see if he can hold my left hand to comfort me after 2 hours my hand was so stuck my teacher manage to pull it out slowly and it came out swollen. I was shaking and in tears so I hugged my teacher so tight as I want to thank hee
