- In this video, I get you the 2023 Toyota Urban Cruiser review. It is a small SUV for all your needs. It is a collaboration between Suzuki and Toyota and is based on the Suzuki Grand Vitara.
The new Toyota Urban Cruiser 2023 is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder engine that produces 102HP and 138Nm of torque. It's mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to the front wheels (FWD). The 2023 Urban Cruiser is also a mild hybrid powered by a motor and a lithium-ion battery. The top model of the new Urban Cruiser comes at AED 84,500.
On the inside of the Urban Cruiser 2023, you will find a 9-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. It also comes with a Heads Up Display (HUD) with different display options.
It is sold as a Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder in the Indian market.

Depends on your needs. Both serve a different purpose. One is a small SUV and one an MPV. Though, the Urban Cruiser feels far more refined (just by Toyota standards).

Am a Skoda Yeti owner - a 2012 model 1.8TSI Adventure trim bought in 2013 and still going strong & comfortable without much issues (other than suspension issues due to my rough handling off road near Ghantoot). Cannot let it go for it's pick-up, fuel economy, occasional 4x4 capability, compactness, all round visibility to name a few.
Looking for a second car and naturally Skoda Kamiq/Karoq/Kushaq are on my radar. How does Urban Cruiser fare compared to any of those?
Well, the Skoda cars are in a league above this if you compare it with the Urban Cruiser.
the 1.5 engine is to small not powerful for this size.

The Geely Coolray is a very good option in this segment. Would strongly suggest it.

I would suggest the Urban Cruiser, or if you still want to go for something better, then the Geely Coolray is worth having a look.

It's just a rebadged Suzuki with a few Toyota touches. The dynamics are exactly like the GV.

I would suggest to go for Urban cruiser. It has more stability and less body roll than rush. Also rush is 4 speed but urban cruiser is 6 speed automatic. Also urban cruiser is more fuel efficient. Only advantage with rush is it is 7 seater and rear wheel drive. If you don’t need a 7 seater then close your eyes and go for urban cruiser. Regarding the engine I thing urban cruiser is using K15C engine from suzuki and rush is using 2NR-V. Both are equally reliable with VVTi technology.
