My only complaint about infernum is almost everything post provi is just dash parry simulator, sure it's difficult but it won't ever catch you off guard, I'm sure there are better ways to create fast paced difficulty

As someone who’s beaten Infernum DoG with guns, the strat is to rotate the entire arena 90 degrees, since there’s extra bullet stack when you dash/drop out of the way. Might attempt a small box Infernum DoG sometime.
In my opinion I'd argue no. Obviously, without learning the patterns it is tough to fight, but even with knowledge of the patterns it's still a very quick death if you mess up. Though once you do learn the patterns killing infernum DoG is much more consistent than regular DoG.

now play like a real gamer on 900% base hp, Armageddon, iron heart, hardcore character, defiled feather, copper shortsword with broken prefix, dobble enemy speed, no keyboard, no mouse, no monitor, gpu only mode, 800 mods loaded so it's very laggy, 1fps cap, no movement, no jumping, no attacking, setting all controls on one button, 2 weeks of no sleep, errape nyan cat in background, while 8 bitcoin miners are active, only using 0.001% of ones brain power and heart rate of 10 cap okay like in all seriousness I can really recommend playing with calamity linage cause it is made for no hitting

Calamity death moon lord is way easier though. I no hit it like 68th try with shroomer. Vanilla has less options. It's also just a bullshit fight In legendary with those boulders
when i first killed the DoG in infernum i didnt even use an arena. I just abused the true melee hits giving flight time feature to its fullest potential and stayed afloat forever
imagine needing arenas, i fight every boss on my superflat world that took absolute ages to make (everything above the underground layer had to be cleared out, plus a full 20 block deep floor of dirt which took 4 hours in of itself, after that i had to perfectly space out all the candles and buff stations on top of nearly 300 honey bubbles)
