    Great video Paul, glad you liked Polar Seal. A couple of initial thoughts. With Polar Seal there is no need to leave the product to dwell on at all, in fact it will actually work better if you get it on and off quickly. I'd agree with your findings that rinsing with high pressure is better then lower, and the narrower jet will help with that. Finally, if you are a big fan of Polar Seal, or in the trade and want to offer it on customer cleans, you can get it in a 5L or 25L bottle, sold as Coat-It from the Autoglym Professional range. We've had customers use it on all sorts of vehicles from tiny cars to massive trucks. As it is a spray on and rinse off process, you can hurl it on massive things with ease. All the best, Mark (from Autoglym)

      look forward to testing the on and off in future mark to check those results, can this be mixed up in a spray bottle mark and used like a wet coat or as follow up QD?

      I love the polar seal and it’s a great product. But it seams to have jumped up in price. I was paying circa £13 in Halfords and amazon now it’s close to £18. I appreciate things are on the rise but this seems like a massive jump.

    I’d recommend the entire polar products - snow foam, shampoo/conditioner and the seal particularly if you want to do a quick job when rain threatens and/or chilly. I’ve used them only today on the wife’s car and it saves time and gives a great finish.

    • @kwl189

      I would say polar seal is the best of the AG range if you ignore the paste wax ultra high definition. The snow foam, polar blaster will foam your drive for hours if not half a day and it's not the best at removing crud. The shampoo is very standard and doesn't foam up a lot. Their wheel cleaner is okay but there is better out there.

    Great video Paul, I've found in my testing that the left over marks you can get with this product is the tap water mixture and it being such a good drying aid you succumb to water spots which look like left over product. I've used it with spotless water and had no issues even at double the strength. Hope that helps any of your community. This is why you tube videos are needed as we all have a slightly different experiences and love to see how others experience products. Thanks for the shout out and the product features and great to see them getting some use.

      Please can you clarify. You mix spotless water with Polar Seal?
      Do you rinse with Spotless or tap water?
      Thanks

    • @jonnyshielldetailing
      @jonnyshielldetailing 8 месяцев назад

      @pigeonpoo1823 I use spotless throughout the entire wash process as I have extremely hard water. You can use tap water to wash with and then fully rinse with spotless. I use around 150 to 200 litres of spotless per wash and it's around £6 to £8 pounds in cost but I get that back in the amount of time spotless water gives me in being able to leave all the cars to dry. By far the best detailing tool you'll ever need is spotless water.

    • @pigeonpoo1823
      @pigeonpoo1823 8 месяцев назад

      @@jonnyshielldetailing thanks for that. Rinsing with Spotless you realise how un-pure tap water is. My water is reasonably soft, but I'll rinse both ways (tap and spotless) to see if it makes any difference. Thanks again

      @pigeonpoo1823 8 месяцев назад

      @@jonnyshielldetailingThank you for your advice. First time using Polar Seal and I did as you suggested with Spotless. Very easy to use. One final q, do you dry the car or not after rinsing Polar off? And if so, do you use a drying aid? I did the latter, but if you rinse properly surely you don't need to? Thanks in advance

    I do love preparing a white car from filthy to clean it is so satisfying to see the dirt melt away to the sparkle returning. The only downside for me with white is when I wax it it can be tricky to see where I have been unless I am exceedingly methodical. These types of products have a time and a place for me and that is certainly winter. I have not tried this range from Autoglym but currently have the Auto Finesse product on my shelf which I use to good effect and use Gyeon Wet Coat on my wheels and plastic arches.

In my head I'm thinking of it getting into the corners or scratching gloss wheels so again put me off trying one . I’ve used polar seal- I’m a total amateur btw - and was wary of using it on the glass as per guidance on the bottle. I found it left a sticky residue ( measured carefully) and water staining. Can’t remember if it was a warm day….
    On a separate note I’ve found the thread on Autoglym lance bottles to be woefully inadequate. They just spin off- I bought 3- buyer beware ….

But with color lights you should use them for the background. Put it inside the closet behind you or let it shine up the wall. That makes it look great. Now you face is all green and you look like Shrek haha. Just use a 'regular' light for lighting up yourself.

      Sony 930R amp 80w per channel bit overkill really then a much sort after Technics SL-PG520A CD player linked to a rather clever valve preamp cheap but worth it FX audio one then a WiiM streamer into a Topping D30 DAC HI-RES Audio converter speaker wise a pair of soon to upgraded Wharfedale 12:1s fed by high end cables 👍🏻

    I seen you used a fallout remover to get rid of tiny rust specs, but no clay bar. I have a similar situation and was wondering if would get away with the same method. Also being winter and really cold i want to do this before it takes hold

      Clay bar will involve machine polishing after so yes go ahead and use fallout remover I do on my white Skoda

    Hi, once you have used polar seal can you apply a hand on wax or is there no need to?

    • @PaulDoldenDetails
      @PaulDoldenDetails  6 месяцев назад

      No need to also it probably won’t bond very well just use polar seal

    Another great Vid Paul, what would you say is the strongest dilution for the GT decon shampoo that will not affect the LSP

      Hi Tony anything above 1/10 just be careful it’s very effective 👍🏻

      @@PaulDoldenDetails I normally use @ about 1-20 but as my car is in a similar mess to your car i was thinking that, that dilution may not be effective

    You're looking a bit green at the beginning of the video, What's wrong with the colour? Anyway a great result after the wash, I hope you keep your car clean in future.😅

    Came for your polar seal review but had to leave a comment to say, hard / wooden floors are AWFUL for hifi and sound. You've been misled somewhere... Hardwood floors create a lot of reflections that will cause havoc through unwanted resonances and phasing issues. There is a reason why the "auditioning room" in a HiFi shop has thick carpet, curtains and lots of soft furnishings, they absorb sound and prevent reflections!

    • @PaulDoldenDetails
      @PaulDoldenDetails  7 месяцев назад

      It’s UPVC and we have rugs and heavy curtains no reflections and not out of phase it also makes the soundstage more lively but neutral appreciate your comments 👍🏻👍🏻
