I’m going to watch this a few times I predict. My son is blessed with such a strong personality, and very little need to impress anyone. 😶🙏🏻❤️ he genuinely loves learning... but there are days... knowing that I cause most of the struggles by how I handle it helps more than half the time for me to redirect myself away from my initial instinct... but the guilt ...I swear they can smell when I’m being hard on myself... it makes things worse. So there’s that too. Thank you for this video.

The additional question I have is that my children attend a private school and so we are paying for their education. I am quite invested in making sure they get good grades are at least turn in their homework on time. Any additional thoughts?

My daughter’s school is posting these videos and I’m very interested in what’s being said on your videos. Since I’m deaf and two other moms in my daughter’s school are also deaf we can’t understand what’s being said without captioning or an ASL interpreter. Would you add captioning to assist us, parents that are deaf?

You should be able to turn on the captions by clicking cc in the bottom-right corner of the video. If that doesn't work, you may have to leave the embedded video and view it on youtube.

Love and Logic I had to leave the video and watch it on RUclips and then it worked for me. Thank you for your assistance.

Thanks for the adavice, it is possible to have success uf you give the power to do the home work to a 8 year old ADHD kid or this advice only applies for older kids. Thanks again.

It applies to all kids. Use your judgment and common sense but we always say the earlier we can get them owning their grades, the better.

I found my kids asking Alexa and Google for the answers on their math assignments. I messaged their teachers that their cheaters and let them deal with it.
