Compton College Hosts Job Fair In Partnership With DPSS & EDD

In partnership with DPSS and the Employment Development Department, Compton College Workforce Development hosted the Passport To Your Career: Job and Resource Fair on May 10, 2023. DPSS Director, Dr. Jackie Contreras was in attendance alongside DPSS staff to support the fair. The event took place at Compton College and was put on to help individuals secure employment. Students, alumni, and community members attended the job fair to meet with employer and community based organization representatives as part-time and full-time work were available for those seeking employment. In hopes of securing employment, attendees visited community resource tables, networked with employers, discovered potential new careers, and attended workshops.
