Probably because her name is not well-known yet and actors usually get first priority of being advertised since the public generally knows them better than directors.

Love the way charlote wells speaks and talks about the film. Her point about how as kids we don’t think about our parents identities was really well put. Can’t wait to see this film.

I’m so glad he likes indie films because he’s the perfect actor for them. Him and Craig Roberts. Eddie redmayne did indie movies when he started and he did very well in them (Hick was a masterpiece) but he started going big movie later on in his career which he’s good at too. Just make his small indie films

I’ve watched a couple of interviews now where he’s been asked what it’s like to play a father when he’s not one irl. And I don’t really recall such a focus on women playing parents when they aren’t ones themselves 🙄

Any actor with an iota of self worth would reject the Marvel / Netflix rubbish for Indie. Last stand in the battle between low budget quality vs big budget quantity. I know which i prefer but i fear the battle is almost lost.

I don't think so. Most of the marvel/ superhero roles are selected by actors for money and attention. Most if not all Marvel/DC actors know those roles don't get the same respect as an Aftersun or The Whale type of Indie films expect roles like Joker or Batman.
You want money/ attention, big budget films or superhero films are the way to go. You want awards/oscars, indie films are the way to go.
Most of the Oscar noms are for smaller budget films. I hope it stays that way. If superhero films start winning by the bunch, then yes its over.

I know you love indie films but there’s nothing wrong with actors choosing to do marvel films. There’s many genres of films that cater to many different audiences and each appeal to different people
