Hey, great video! I'm looking forward to helping convert food waste as well, and I appreciate seeing your process. I think this is only the second video of yours I've caught, but I'm subbed now, and just wanted to tell you you're doing a great job and thank you for sharing your knowledge/system! 🌱💗
I would build a generic solar drying shed that is well sealed to raise temps. The roof and sides could be corrugated metal to minimize UV damage long term.
I got it on eBay -- called a Bone Crusher. It did need some rewiring to run off of a generator since where I'm running the grinder isn't wired for too much electricity usage. And we had to replace the switch on it recently.
I talk about this in a couple other videos. Too much liquid in the feedstock creates an anaerobic environment in the bins that will generate odors and also doesn't allow for a quality, siftable frass product
That's a great system you have . I finally got a restaurant to give me their waste. We will see how that goes. I have started to expand finally.
You are doing a great job with your community. Congratulations on reaching 100 subscribers. 😎
Thanks for the kind words!

I really appreciate that!

I didn't catch the name of the grinder.. or perhaps you made a video of the grinding station?

Can you elaborate here about draining off water and aerobic vs. anaerobic?
What's going on?

Some households have biweekly service, but that is a short list.
