Instead of taking accountability for his bad play in a crucial Game 7, he says that he AND James "can't win alone" basically throwing the team under the bus. How do you win a play off series if your starter cant do what he was signed to do and your coach doesnt see that and make adjustments. Tryna talk all this smack when you dont know the actual facts behind these chokes. Plus the refs are in love with celtics, rolling their eyes at Butler scoring the ball in the series.

    • @M4K9G22
      @M4K9G22 Год назад +2

      @@ItzzShazey ever since Toronto where embiid literally cried like a little girl, he's managed to point the finger at everyone but himself. It's funny because most of those games came down to him guarding the last shot and failing. This year was his biggest choke, scoring 10 ppg below his season average, yet he still pointed the finger at his team. They should name a worst teammate award after him. At least this season he chilled out on hugging Harden after every play.
      PJ Tucker has always been a 3 and D player with low FGA per game. Not really his fault he only gets 3 shots a game. Embiid is like a black hole so he rarely passes it back out to all the shooters they have on the team. 2.7apg in the playoffs was weak.

    Embiid is the worst MVP of all time, no doubt about it.
    Even his MVP has asterisks around it, those being his consistent whining for it for like the last three years(and he wasn`t better then either Jokic or Giannis in any of the last three years.) And obviously the famous statement by Kendrick Perkins. Perkins carried the man to his first MVP.
    No Embiid cannot win as the first or second option, and i think even as a third option is a stretch.
    he seems like a fourth option due to his poor decision making, and high reliance on getting calls so that he can take free throw`s to up his scoring numbers.

    There is one thing that people tend to forget about when they're looking at postseason scoring and rebounding of specific players. You have to keep in mind that they are playing the best teams in their conference so you might expect that they're shooting percentages would go down as would their other offensive category numbers. Boston can play some pretty good defense at times so they would be trying to make sure that embiid wasn't killing them. Obviously that stretch at the end of game seven was unexplainable but why weren't they getting him the ball? Also why wasn't he calling a timeout and getting at the team to get him the ball which is something you might expect somebody in his position to do? Harden Embiid. It's kind of hard to know why Joelle doesn't just take it over at the end of the game with his physical dominance but over and over he seems to fade when it matters. Jokic had to play without his best players last year and finally won it all when he finally had a whole team around him.Embiid doesn't have an excuse this year because everybody was healthy.

    Great Video. Embid gotta really think about this loss and why it happened. He said him and Harden can't do it alone, which makes me think he doesnt even realize why they lost. Embid played with low energy and didnt play with the force and aggression that a man his size and skill should play with. The biggest man on the court by far and he settles for nothing but fallback midrange jumpers with Al hanging right up in his grill? That ain't it. I do think Doc does have to take some blame for failing to adjust to the Celtics going big and playing Horford and Rob Williams together. Doc stuck with PJTucker and although Tucker made some 3s in the first quarter of game 7, he isnt a guy that makes you guard him at the corner three. Tucker was assigned to Rob Williams by Mazulla to basically let Rob camp near the paint and deter Embid from even trying to get to the rim. It wasnt just Al Horford locking him up, it was Al Horford knowing he only had to worry about Embid midrange jumpers knowing Rob had his back. If doc had put in a shooter who commands respect, Rob Williams couldnt have committed to Embid with basically a 2 level double team. Doc could have taken some pressure off Embid who was becoming very predictable being forced into contested mid range shots. The celtics made adjustments in the close out games this series, the sixers made no adjustments and got smoked in the 3rd quarter by Tatum catching fire. They probably would have lost no matter what with Tatum just going off like that, but their offense scored 10 points in the 3rd. I think it was the sixers becoming very predictable and the celtics defense just playing with confidence in their game plan. The sixers got so few shots that weren't heavily contested and they started to look like the whole team was having a collective panic attack not knowing what to do. Embid or Harden never got fired up on the sideline or tried to inspire the team either. It was two dejected leaders showing their teammated that they didnt believe they could win.
