Angie’s stubbornness to not change is a little different than Amorim in my opinion. He has to change to protect his players. His veterans are exhausted from never getting to rest and his bench players are not good enough to play his system unchanged. The injuries require he protects the players that are on the pitch match after match.

I have been hearing about the exhausted/tired/knackered excuse before we'd even got close to the half way mark in the season. 13 games into the season and many Spurs' fan channels were making this same claim. What is wrong with your players if you can't manage that?! Go and look at what Arsenal did last season competing in the Premier League for the title and the Champions League with practically the same eleven the entire season. I know using Arsenal would probably annoy you and I'm not a fan of either side, but if we are talking about what players are capable of doing - injuries aside - then Arsenal proved you can compete on 2 fronts right up to the end of the season with a very limited squad. What is Spurs excuse? Even against the likes of Newcastle, Crystal P away, Brighton away, Ipswich at home we saw Spurs put in some shocking performances. Ange is cannot be defended anymore. Time for him to go.

  • @Elite-0Zero
    @Elite-0Zero 12 дней назад +4

I don't care to be honest what Ange says. He's in an impossible position and can't tell his players they're not good enough to compete so to just stand on the goalline and hope. On the other hand, Spurs have 10 first team players out, and their second-choice GK. Logic demands they make some emergency loan or short-term signings while the transfer window is open. But no club is active because of PSR rules. Effectively, no club can sustain a season with fewer than 25 first team players due to the fixture congestion yet none can afford to have more than 20 because of how high player wages are. This is a simple economic problem that leads to one of three things: player strikes, more players like Rashford effectively pricing themselves out of ever playing again due to salary demands, or flagrant rule disregard by everyone to get where Forest are.

And you still criticize him for changing it up. I think a lot of people should shut up. Because we have lost the two most vital parts of how we play. Romero and Van De Ven. Solanke is now out for 6 weeks. Johnson is now out for 4 weeks and Bissouma is also injured. It's absolute madness the injury crisis we are in. Combine that with the same squad playing week in week out with no gas left in the tank and the fact we still haven't got in any reinforcements. You need to cut Ange some slack. If you take the best players out of any squad they will struggle

It doesn't matter who the manager is, Levy has had 12 managers and they've all ended up getting sacked by Levy. The problem this club has is Levy himself, although a fantastic businessman the footballing side he has very little in understanding, hence the lack of success under his tenure. In Ange we have a manager with an attacking style of play that we were are raving about last season, but with signing more youngsters that might benefit Levy in the sense that they are cheaper to sign and pay, they don't do the teams quality many favours, in fact the quality of the team and squad has gotten worse. 24 years of doing things the Levy way doesn't work, and there's 12 managers that will vouch for that. We need real quality, but with signing real quality comes higher wages and I don't see Levy paying what's needed to rectify the situation. Therefore the only solution for the fans is Levy & ENIC out.

Funny how only Everton should have scored with the chances they missed but no mention of the chances fluffed by Spurs/Son. These lazy pundits only go one way favouring the winning team to back what they say.
If chances were missed, it means no goal. What's the point of saying they could have scored 5. The point is they didn't. You don't win games by the goals you missed. Case in point Spurs' early games vs Leicester and Newcastle where they didn't take their chances.
Both Everton and Spurs are in a vulnerable position currently. Going a goal or 2 down changes things during the game. But somehow only Everton's missed changes matter but not the chances missed by Spurs during the game.

I pay for the train into London, if the train drivers are not on strike or don't turn up for a shift because they can't be arsed, a few over priced pints before the game, a few over priced pints while in the stadium. A meal when his partner meets up with us after the game for some more overpriced pints and a meal that is not worth the money. Why should I spend 200 to 300 quid a game to go and see them, they are not worth it. It seems to me that spurs want some recognition for something, it is not being a winning side. When clubs go out and spend 60 to 80 million for a player spurs think 30 million will get them a good player, only if you are an idiot. 6 games now without a win, time to go ange, you are not as good as you think. Levy will not pay for the best he just wants the cheapest, that means they are not the best, like Levy.

Here's Manchester United's league position under Sir Alex Ferguson for his first five years: Ange is trying to breed a culture into Spurs but its going to be painful to start with.
    1986-87: 11th place
    1987-88: 2nd place
    1988-89: 11th place
    1989-90: 13th place
    1990-91: 6th place

How long will it take for Levy & the Spurs board to realise they appointed a complete novice of a soccer trainer (not even a coach) with zero experience at this elite level of English Premier League of professional football!
One trick pony of a soccer trainer with every excuse in the book & no substance. “It’s who he is mate”!
Ludicrous to continue on with this very likeable, entertaining, great valued interviewee who is on a 5 points out of available 30 in the last 10 matches!
W7, D3 L12! Super form, far better than anything Poch, Mourinho, Conte ever delivered, yeah, right!

I guess time is coming soon for the Aussie man to go back down under. Unless he can win Europa league and squeeze into Europe that way but there are too many better run teams in that comp. Even if wins Carabao by holding Liverpool to a draw and then bettering Newcastle by goal in the final, meanwhile finishing outside top 10 in prem - that won't be enough to save his cangaroo bacon.

If its not the crew taking a dump on Manchester United daily, then they are doing just that on either Ange Postercoglu or Kylian Mbappe or Kai Havertz.
You will only hear this crew singing praises for Barcelona & Liverpool, even Chelsea seems to get a huge pass nowadays. Dortmund screwing up big time seems to also fly past the top of their head. PSG suddenly has become irrelevant. City for the level of atrocity they slumped into plus with all the charges facing them, also not a single thing pointed out as much as they do with the rest.
ESPN Hypocrisy... imagine you have another pundit coming on everyday and pointing out the nonsense that comes out of Ale and Nicol's and ESPECIALLY JULES mouth - point out and lie and criticize them incandescently, lets see if they get better at their job.

I’m with you. Ange was exposed at Celtic when he was in the champions league. Two points from 18 is what he earned when he had to try and pick on teams his own size or bigger with his flat track bully effort ball. Contrasted of course to being able to walk over the top teams like st Johnstone . Even when he was in the Europa games with them he got bungled out.
