Blake was not being rude. She called out the double standard and hypocrisy between how men and women are asked completely different questions in interviews and she is right. For men, they ask intuitive questions. But for women, it's always about the exterior and how they look. You people who keep going back to these nonsense clips are reaching and don't want change to happen. You want everyone to go back to how things are and we are NOT going back.

@@HappyGo743 Blake is a model and an actress; to refer to her becoming pregnant as "a little lump" is grossly outdated and could absolutely hurt her career if she develops an insecurity about her belly prematurely. Her job is to work and be confident about her appearance until she can't anymore as the pregnancy progresses; I think the comment by the interviewer, while well-meaning, was grossly reckless. Blake appears to have had body dysmorphic symptoms about her weight as well, such as on set with her latest film where a comment about "being able to lift her" triggered something. I don't think Blake is the monster people are making her out to be; she may be recovering from a hidden eating disorder. The interviewer made a crude, crude mistake and Blake was unable to recover quickly from it; it seems to be a deep-seated insecurity, so she sabotaged the interview because it struck a nerve, possibly out of spite but maybe also out of an aroused insecurity she couldn't quickly forget. These things happen. It's sad people cannot connect the dots, and Parker was also not being problematic; she tried, she did, to keep it light. Blake was very hurt. I'm sure the moment she became pregnant her life flashed before her eyes, esp. if she had weight/body-image issues before.

I could be wrong but I actually think that Posey was uncomfortable the whole time and didn't have the back bone to stop the bullying. If you notice, she tried to direct the conversation back to the interview questions a few times and did try to include the interviewer a bit, unlike Lively who was out to kill. I read the final look more like exhaustion from trying (and failing) to balance things during the interview, and relief it was finally over. I think she was protecting herself by not openly opposing the bully, and was far less interested (if at all) in defending the interviewer, but saying it's Posey's fault more than Lively's is just pushing it.

You know what, I actually think the opposite is true. I watched that interview over and over, and what I see Posey doing ithie nervous transition To maybe keep peace. She felt the tension in Blake saying "congratulations to your baby bump" and thought she must make this light-hearted and fun. I'm also sensing That poesy. Being the one who actually knows Blake could sense that this was happening and jumped in? This is similar to like how an "invisible child" or the "mascot child" ŕole in a toxic family system will do They try to use laughter and mediation to maintain Peace by making every one happy in the family whenever something goes wrong. I feel like posey plays this position in this interview. So she tried to turn the tension it into a joke, but in reality I think that it made it much worse. The fact that she jumped in so fast and tried to make it a funny moment to me speaks to her intuitive perception. I know that it looks like she was absolutely complicit 2ith Blakes behavior, but I truly think instinctively that she was just trying to Diffuse uncomfortable tension from apregna tlady 😂 I don't know, I could be entirety wrong, but that was my initial intuitive assesment. Parker definitely should have done more to better guide the interview but I think that look was more of an “I want to get out of here this is awkward” look. Parker even tried to professionally answer one of the questions right before Blake made another rude and snarky comment. Blake also still hasn’t apologized for anything, her weak character just told the press she’s quitting acting again because she can’t handle the criticism which is rich coming from her 😂

I gotta disagree with some of this because I got the vibe that Parker Posey was in a super awkward situation but tried to divert very quickly with a joke about her body in order to draw attention away from Blake's weird rude comeback in order to comedically diffuse the situation. She's a comedic actress and natural improviser at heart and was doing her best in an uncomfortable situation. The eye roll appeared to be a sign of letting out an exhale after an awkward situation and just dying inside waiting to be let out of this hell hole she was stuck in doing interviews next to Lively all day was probably constantly going off on more rude outbursts she'd have to diffuse. Does this make sense to anyone? Tell me I'm not alone in this thought!

@@debbiedrawsfunny no, your points definitely makes sense. I got a different vibe so obviously this video was just my opinion but I'm so grateful for you leaving your thoughts for others to meditate on. There's a lot of people in this chat who are literally saying that Blake wasn't wrong or rude to do what she did or said because she's a model and that's just how models are. You make a million times more sense than those people LOL

    your so wrong.
while she sided with B. Lively
she tried to include the journalist .
Parker's eyes seem to roll, that is correct
but I think she was asking herself, ' What just happened?'
Parker also seemed to feel a bit awful about the situation.
It can be a look of disgust *NOT* to the interviewer
    but to the situation.
Perhaps the eye roll signifies relief
that it's finally over, especially since
she was just playing along with Blake Lively.
    Remember, Parker attempted several times
to go back to the topic of promoting the movie
& thus trying to involve the interviewer.
