Thank you for answering my question! I sure have something to work on and to have fun working on! In the video you start out by listening to the drums. I can do that, and I do. Then you find out where 1, 2, 3, and 4 are. I try to do that too, but I am mostly not so sure that I get it right. Then I pretend, I got it right, and have fun playing, hoping one day I will be able to really get it right and to know that I got it right. Do you have advice on how to know where 1, 2, 3, and 4 are? Your answer could perhaps turn into excercises on how to listen to music. Perhaps taking some tracks and showing where 1, 2, 3 and 4 are and how to find them. What a joy for me to have this kind of talk with you!
Thanks for the tipps, it was really helpfull and fun. I have a question regarding licks in general, because thats where I'm stuck at the moment. So licks are just like words right? I have to learn quite a bunch of them and then I can assemble them into a solo or a leadpart. But how can I put them together and how do I know where I can sepperate when I hear them in a song for example? I mean of course I have to do it in a way that it sounds right, but theres got to be more to it, right?
Thanks Jason for the great video!! Your rhythm is amazing and you make it look so easy !! Anything you can share on pedal signal chain, and your favorite pedal combinations would be great. There's a lot of info & opinions out there regarding pedals and it can get confusing.
Cool lesson!!
Thanks, Rich, appreciate you watching!
