ive been purchasing gently cooked dog food from Raised Right. I also want to be more mindful about the food i feed my dog, but purchasing on a subscription helps me to save time. I appreciate Raised Right because they do not include legumes as a source of protein, and the recipes were formulated in partnership with Dr. Karen Becker (the same vet partnered with Rodney Habib for the recipe in this video).
I also use this recipe from Rodney Habib for my 3 dogs. Ive been using it for a couple years now and it’s been great. I also have his books. I didn’t find this recipe from the video you linked and it is slightly different. Mine is very particular about the vegetables used (to ensure that it’s balanced) and it calls for red bell pepper, broccoli, and spinach. Also I don’t think I would call this affordable. You have two tiny dogs that hardly eat anything. 😂 I have two St Bernard’s and a Great Pyrenees. 😭 I still make it for them but I have to mix it with their kibble bc they eat a ton and I can’t afford to spend that much.

Thank you for sharing I like your recipe, how did you get the portion size right? My dog is wearing about 40 to 45 pounds and I cook for them but I don’t know if I’m over feeding them. I don’t know how much food I shouldn’t be given them. How did you get those measurements correct?
