I'm at 7:13 on the video and my diagnosis is that there's either too much spark advance (timing) at cruising speed and/or the intercoolers are blocking the radiators from adequately cooling the car.
Also , if you want the header sound to be above and beyond, make them stepped, or better yet , multi-stepped. Also use merge collectors that pinch down at the base of the collector and then expand progressively (kind of like a megaphone) after that. Of course equal length primaries are critical, and can be perfected by blowing air over the opening of each one and checking the resulting frequency with a spectrum analyzer app on your phone.
Mike should get one of those hat brim go pros or cameras that way you can work with both hands and the audience gets a good pov of what you’re actually looking at/working on just an idea
Chest mount works too, especially if Mike's filming for stories which are filmed with an iphone. He could use one of those 6 point harness looking mount.

I am a hot rodder first, always maintain my excitement for this build. Yet now I am actually more excited to see the look on Mike’s face once the car is out of his hands because he knows like only a few know that all these things are necessary and it couldn’t have been done faster given the recourses. That will be his moment to unspokenly prove the vision and grin with relief.

To add Tim to the insurance, it would cost over 100k a year, that’s why Dave doesn’t even drive the Senna since only Damon is insured for that car specifically
water wetter with distilled water works much better than plain coolant in hot weather. It's not ideal for the winter as it might freeze if you take it up in the snow.
Thermostat / water pump are relatively cheap to replace especially not knowing when or if they have ever been done givin the milage. Best place to start to eliminate them from the problem given the fans are working and no exhaust gas pressurizing the system
Idk how to add a time stamp but when mike was talking about recording and building the cars, why not just buy a head cam that way u can get close ups and be free to move around

There's so many other options rather than holding that big ass camera while driving lmao. Stradman drives me insane with that. Could get a simple head mount, mouth gaurd camera mount like other RUclipsrs but they'd rather risk crashing the cars lmao
Do a pressure test on the cooling system. I've had a similar problem where the car had spikes in coolant temp because of a crazy small coolant leak. Standing still the car didn't leak so the only way to test was a pressure test and start checking for leaks
I was gonna say a thermostat too. I mean, I don’t have no supercar but one winter it was cold and on the highway I couldn’t get no heat. I was like what the what the crap yeah like I didn’t know what to do and then in the city, it was really my heat would come back on. I’m like what’s going what’s going on like I’d put on wall But my father I call my father because he was in the industry for a long time. He said come see me when you get home because I was in Maine and I was coming home that night and he said what happened. I told him and he was like first off when it’s that cold out you don’t put the heat all the way up full blast and then he was like you know I’ll check your thermostat. It wasn’t an open thermostat. He was just saying when it’s that cold cause I’m in New England. Don’t blast my heat driving up the highway at 6570 miles an hour he said put on 22 or three and then all of a sudden it worked I couldn’t believe it but in the city stop and go it would work and it was crazy cause I was bringing my daughter and my ex-girlfriend or my kids mother home and I felt so bad for them. I told him to sit in the back and I put blankets on them, but I felt so bad. I didn’t know it was gonna happen on the way there or I would’ve took a different carbut still it probably would’ve happened because I didn’t know at that time. I was younger. I didn’t know to drive with the heat, not all the way up when it freezing out, but that was a lesson learned.
Air fresheners have flavors? 🧐... I guess they do at $15 per month. With all the packaging, etc. I doubt they are anywhere near as "good" for the environment as the $1-$5 air fresheners that only give off a scent and don't come in flavors. I love how all the YT channels do ads for the same 90% of advertisers...bc they "believe" in the products.
Here's some tips...sticky thermostat, issue with the fan controller, the water pump to the intercooler heat exchanger not working, water pump impeller shaft broken. Even I a DIY ocasional Mechanic would check that first before testing the Head Gasket.
They did buy Tim the Grulan and have put a ton of money into it. It's not like they have given him nothing. Also, I would love to see Tim ripping donuts in the cars. 😂

Y'all should mount some gopros on the walls as kinda a security system but also to film so Mike and Tim can focus on the builds and the filming is already done for them. Exactly what I was commenting yesterday - it's common to heat up with that extra load on the engine from going uphill on stretches specially with the A/C on.

You guys know altitude and pressure are key in a cooling system. You’re most likely problem would be a radiator cap not holding enough pressure.

Tim should create an Excel sheet for each car, with the scheduled maintenance as part numbers. It will be a big improvement, managing the fleet.
Or at least start to check the fluids in each car, before Dave or Damon take them on a ride.

It would overheat at idol if it was the thermostat.. it would either take forever to get warm, stuck open, or not cool off, stuck closed..

I have a dayco laser serpentine belt alignment tool, works amazing. Give it a try to make sure your belts are perfectly in line and correct tension.

Y'all should mount some gopros on the walls as kinda a security system but also to film so Mike and Tim can focus on the builds and the filming is already done for them. But also Mike and Tim can still film with the phones but it just adds more angles and better for them so they don't need to hold the phones as much.

yeah, with my older machine, it likes pure tungsten with a rounded/balled tip. newer machines like different tungsten and a sharper tip

Replace Water pump/ thermal state/ cooling Fan may running weak replace it and New coolant .lot of owners forget the most common thing when the car went hot and still not believe it and replace it

With the fan issue along with the heat it makes sense to me to change the thermostat
