Thank you for coming out of your invisibility to be seen in order to encourage girls and women to study STEM fields. You surely are an inspiration.
You're going to be challenged in the STEM field no matter your immutable characteristics, do not assume someone is victimizing you when they're challenging you. Study hard, strive to be the best at what you do and people will notice it and people will appreciate you for what you've achieved not for what you are.
But they were victimizing her. Why did that teacher accuse her of cheating instead of accepting that she did well? Why are statistics showing such low numbers of girls believing in themselves in STEM?
Honestly, this is one of the best talks on any subject I have ever seen. Literally moved me to tears. Thank you!
