I showed this video to my students today and they were very engaged and faced a rude awakening about the systematic racism against minorities in STEM careers. I would love to have you come to my school as a guest speaker one day. Thanks so much for sharing your personal life story.

my guess is vicky you don't have a clue about STEM careers. There is zero systematic racism in STEM. None. Either provide evidence or have the common decency to admit you have no idea of what you're talking about.

It's a made up issue. Literally no one cares except the people who create and perpetuate these so called "issues". So what if you by default think of a scientist as a man or white? If you change the perspective to another bias, what difference does that make??
Asians literally dominate the fields of STEM - its a job occupation. Not life or death.

Asians are minorities in this country as well. We can only hope that the breakthrough of Asians in STEM fields will be the first of many victories on the behalf of underrepresented races in this country. I hope you will not continue to bash any group of minorities that prevail in a given field. It will only bring us a step further from equality.

You want to talk about racism? Why don't you mention that Asians are the smallest minority group in the US? Why don't you talk about the fact that to get equal consideration for entry into Princeton university Asians have to score 140 points higher than whites, 270 points higher than Latinos and 450 points higher than blacks on their SAT scores? Why don't you mention that there is a limitation on the number of Asians that Universities will accept even though they are more qualified than other minorities? Why don't you talk about how affirmative action doesn't apply to Asians? Why don't you talk about how some banking institutions and high tech companies are looking into the same restrictions when it comes to loans and hiring practices? Racism? You don't know what you're talking about. How do you think you got where you are?
