I only just discovered this songwriter, being an older person and his songwriting is absolutely breathtaking - best I've found in many years, from singing about struggles with a father to on the knuckle political material - the music industry needs this young man.

I really liked 17 Going Under, very good lyrics. But where are the Rock/Alt bands?! BRITS is too heavily skewed towards urban and grime. Not much rock n roll naughtiness either. Very dull or mediocre at best Rising star nominee. Surely we have more talent out there than what's presented at the BRITS?! Glad that Liam was there, he was FAB!
