This is the BEST Nature Documentary I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot. So absolutely amazing. I would love to buy a hard copy DVD. It’s blowing my mind, on every level. The music is fantastic! The insight alone of the narration has me wishing I could shake the hand of the person(s) who wrote it. I’m delightfully Gobsmacked! - here I was hoping to fall asleep, but instead I’m glued to this marvel. ♥️ 👏🏼
"Plankton is a like a vast grasslands with food for all." Hehe, its also.everyone's babies. Baby everything, from shell fish to boney fish and all the other squishy things and the corals and spiny things and all of them. Their babies are the mass of the plankton, along with algae, all eating each other and being eaten.
The title really drew me in; and the contents are excellent. I was hoping to see the African equator as well --- with the Ruwenzori, Mt. Kenya, Kilimanjaro .....
"North pole"??? The largest frigid area on earth - Antarctica - is the home of the south pole. Both are equidistance from the equator. Further Equador is in SOUTH America. Why not just say the "polar regions"???

You have great wonderful programs with detailed displays of any living creature.
This seems like one of the most fascinating places in the world. Not for vacationing, but to study.
I’ve spent a total of five weeks there. Amazing land and people!

since they already mentioned the Equator, why mention it again?
What is the name of the volcano in the opening pics?
I recall it’s in the country of Ecuador. That’s a research lead.
