      Not too bad... but a raincoat has the advantage of pockets, which can be handy for bug spray etc

    What's wrong with bright colors? Some animals (frogs, snakes, lizards, insects) have bright outer colors to scare predators, don't they? wouldn't it work the same?

    • @Insidethetravellab
      @Insidethetravellab  2 года назад +2

      Yes, it does! But you don't really want to scare away any wildlife - you want to see it!

      @@cassiofficial Many insects will be attracted to bright colours, as they may be mistaken for ripe fruits, or flesh, or flowers. So in terms of avoiding mosquitoes, you are much better off avoiding bright coloured clothing.

      @@watermelooon1768Ok, so I have been to the jungle I was looking forward to and I have learned the snakes already run away when they see people, as long as you give them enough time to react that way, and there aren't any other relevant animals that could pose a threat to my free time but the insects. How could I scare the insects? If that's possible. I guess insects don't see colors the way we do.

    Why don't use black clothes in jungle?

    • @Ucayali267
      @Ucayali267 3 года назад +3

      It's because the black colour absorbs more heat.
