This was the true Tyson wen he loved boxing focused and well trained before king and givens ruined him this Tyson would have gave any heavyweight trouble
this definitely took me back… even at 26:21, that little bleep sound that you would hear from the cable provider at the time.. ai believe it was ‘TKR Cable’ in Central New Jersey
He just isn't fella. You judge a 'great' sportsman on their longevity, their quality of opposition and how they reacted when dealing with adversity. He was burnt out 5 years into his career. His best victims were an old, inactive Holmes and a terrified, inactive light heavyweight Spinks. Everytime he was seriously challenged he lost, no plan B or championship character at all. Lewis and Holyfield faced and beat far better competition their whole careers.
@@bigdaddy4069 Holyfield yes” can lay claim to greatness, however had he fought Mike instead of Bert cooper, Mike would’ve Nailed him, Cooper was poor man’s Tyson, Lewis on the other hand never fought anyone who was as himself prime or young enough, Lewis took the titles from ol has beens fella, all washed up opposition, the only good opponent Lewis faces was Vitali .. who had Lewis beat might I add, and when Vitali wanted rematch Lewis retired!!! cmon
Seldon victories " 33 " .... Tyson - Holyfield fake ear biting fight stopped at " 33 "secs ... Gus walking with Tyson wears " 33 " sweatshirt ... plus Seldon went down early and easy . Total mason production
@@stuh1975 Yeah no problem, I always read the comments as I have a video on and when I seen your question I forwarded to 14:15 and used the song recognition on my phone. Glad it helped.
Hey for all you Tyson lovers out there! You guys know that In 58 pro fights Mike never fought a south-paw. Well Tillis was converted but boxed orthodox. Not a single southpaw for good reason..
I don't know why there's so much hype over this bum he wasn't all that good the people that he beat were bums when he got up there and started fighting good fighters like holyfield Lennox Lewis got his butt kicked I'm telling you the man was not all that good he beat bums
I agree, John. Tyson was total shit. I mean, after only four years of incarceration and four warm-up fights, he still couldn't beat Holyfield. What's even worse is that at 35 years old, drug-addled, disinterested and overweight, he couldn't beat Lewis either, losing by knockout after a systematic pummelling. A hype job, John, and I agree with you entirely.
This is some clown talk was Trevor Berbrick a bum? Was Bonecrusher Smith a bum? Was Pinklon Thomas a bum? Was Tony Tubbs a bum? Was Tony Tucker a bum? Was Larry Holmes a bum? The song is called I’m a fighter by Van Zant.
@@wasntme3651 Thanks! I realized I watched the video to that song about a year ago because it features Marvelous Marvin!

“Bad Chad” Dawson?
Lucky for all the south-paws out there.
Only southpaw worth fighting at any time in Tyson's career was Michael Moorer. No other southpaw meant shit.
Rather vacuous comment...
