He's such a natural in terms of personality. It's actually pretty impressive for a dude that's 20 years old. He's one of those people who I figure will probably do well in whatever endeavor he pursues.
First game and all their picks are completely different from mine. I think I’m just terrible at guessing ranks, but then I’m spot on. They made me think I was so bad for a minute 😂😂
horrific guess by all the contestants lol, the worst part is they saw the 1st person view and they saw that the players APM was like 100 lol, I have friends who main protoss and play at like 4.2k (cos i'm that level also) and they play like 200-250 APM and have good decision making usually. Diamond 2 is like 3.6k, a far cry from 4k level play let alone high masters lol. I'm actually not that surprised that Reynor and Harstem got it wrong because they have a weird perspective as 6.5k players but I'm surprised that LowKo didn't notice how slow that game was
@@influence5310 This is somewhat similar to a podcast. If you've seen one then you would know a lot of people enjoy them and they dont have much difference except the topics of conversation.
Got my personal highscore of 2-0-0-4 today :) that last one was really throwing me off :D I often have the same feeling as Lowko :D Love this series, keep up the good work! :)
That strategy of sneaking up on the place where your opponent is idling his army while macroing and blowing it up is how I got to D3. I've had an opponent go from 150 supply to 70 supply to "left the game" in less than a second.
I'm confused why they all thought it was masters/GM, during the game they were talking about the 150 APM and not knowing that disruptors can't 1-shot archons
I love that three high quality people in the starcraft scene care less about the game and more about verbal jabs at eachother, meanwhile all laughing because it's all in the name of fun.
Harstem, you need to have Hamster put the ranking table back in so people like me (and random people who find these videos in their suggested feed) who don't have the rankings memorized can still guess without looking up a ranking table. It was in your previous videos in this series, so I never tried to memorize the table. You were supporting my laziness, and now I want the support back!
Ahh 0, 0, 2, 4. Great micro for S1 in that last game. Couldn’t BELIEVE you guys said GM/Master for the first game, that was literally a model D2 game haha
The tragedy is that Lowko was actually off by 3 and Reynor could have actually have forced a tiebreaker with a bangon guess, Lowko did great here though and he did get 0 points in a crucial round because Reynor did relatively well.
Round 4 was... a mixed bag. Like that's a pretty impressive Terran army, if the time was several minutes ago. The stutter step felt like something a gold or plat player could handle, and then missing the hatchery and queen by a combined 5 health was pure gold. If you didn't look at the bottom bar, it'd be around plat level, but floating 1k+... bruh...
13 points today. Tied with bottom place. . . . Round 1: P1 (3 Points) - In the first skirmish, I was thinking platinum or diamond. In the second skirmish, gold or platinum. And then the fight at the end had me thinking platinum or diamond again. I went with the league that was in all three, and skewed towards the league that was in two. I was like “I am way off” when I saw their guesses. Especially since all three guessed right around M1. I had a very different impression of the speed in this game than Lowko and Reynor did. Round 2: D1 (5 Points) - They were playing pretty fast, there were some good ideas like holding off on defending the base until there were enough units to sweep through the Terran army. I disagree with Lowko that this was a clearly worse game than round 1. Decision-making wasn’t perfect, but I think they were playing pretty hard. I disagreed with the pros (and Lowko) in Round 1, and I was right. I disagreed with them in Round 2, and was the one way off this time. Round 3: M3 (3 Points) - There was a lot to like here. Round 4: S2 (2 Points) - This feels like silver/gold. They weren’t just floating, they were floating on 1-base economy. This is the only time I’ll probably be able to tie Reynor in anything SC2 related. However, if he does want to beat up on NA metal leaguers (as he states in the video), I’m happy to go up against him.
That first guess, man the last scene where he had everything under one control group, killing all his disruptors, they really gussed Masters? But It might be easier for me because I see that all the time in D2
D1 - 2 (Wait, how did everyone think this was masters/GM? Can't even use the excuse of forgetting the EU drop because that's y'all's home server o_O) P3 - 2 (Reddit build had me on the same page as Reynor) M2 - 2 (The gut failed me (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ ) G2 - 3 (Gutlink (⌐■_■) ) Total = 9 Sad to not have more Reynor. Hope he wins next season ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
I really wanted to see Reynor's cocky ADHD battle against the cold condescension of Tosis. GG to Lowko. Looking foward to seeing the top 2 Dutch SC2ubers battle the rank roulette goat.
There is something wrong with the the poker chip portraits. The specific phenomenon is easy to notice upon close inspection but hard to describe with words. Imagine the following: The Poker chips are printed on toilet paper rolls. You are tasked with gluing them onto the stream overlay. Obviously, if you just slap the TP rolls on, parts of the portraits won't be visible. So you have to cut the rolls open in order to to form rectangles. Obviously, the most sensible spot to place the cuts would be outside of the circular shape of the poker chip illustrations, but sadly, your preschool teacher forgot to show you how to use scissors, so you accidentally cut off a part of the circle, which is now on the wrong side of the rectangle. That is what the portraits look like. Edit: Upon closer inspection, I noticed that my toilet paper roll analogy actually doesn't suffice in this case. Because the cutoff phenomenon is visible both on the horizontal and vertical axis, it's more like a donut with two badly placed cuts, but I'm too lazy to rewrite everything.
Plat 1 - Diamond 2 (3) Plat 1 - Plat 2 (2) Masters 1 - Masters 1 (0) Silver 1 - Silver 1 (0) Total: 5 1. First game looked to be around my level when I last played which was Masters 3. Micro exists, but is kind of poor. The disruptor shot is absolutely the kind of poor game sense move I'd make (I think my total # of games from WoL to today is still under 1000). Both players are able to engage in something of a macro game and micro okay-ish there. 2.Second game definitely looked worse than my level, but aggressive and sustained enough to not be Gold. 3.Good harass. I have not seen any solid Warp Prism/archon micro like that in Diamond. The hero archons part is what really sold me on Masters 1. 4.This looked exactly like the level of Silver 1 teammates/enemies I'd face in 4v4s. Turns out I was dead on!
From liquipedia about stalemate detection: A stalemate occurs when all players are unable to complete any of the following actions: Generate income Produce a unit Construct a building (excluding Creep Tumor and Auto-Turret) Research an upgrade Destroy an enemy building After 128.57 seconds, if no player has completed any of these actions, the game issues a final 128.57 seconds warning. If the warning period elapses without a player completing any of these actions, then the game ends in a draw for all remaining players. So, even if you had 2 afk players they would eventually draw, once their bases run out of ressources, besides having enough workers and ressources to build a lot of stuff
