Honest review regarding the discs? Also did you go to track days and use them there? Bought today same brake discs for my track car and I want an honest opinion.
Hi. thanks for the question. I am happy with them 100% so far. but make sure you replace the bolts. OEM are stretch and only single-use. i am doing SPA and nurburgring this weekend 13-14/10/2019 will report after that. however i did abuse them in Scotland for 5 days 8 hours a day. they took it like champions! www.mtecbrakes.com/2-piece-brake-discs/m6-x-30mm-bolt-nut-and-1-washer.html
@@RuskiWeldFab mine are brand new, made them for my custom 4 pot brembo big brake kit on my honda(alfa romeo 330mm brembo calipers, 330 2 piece disc and pagid rsl29). Waiting your reply. Have fun! 😄
I have also installed the Reyland J-hook replacement brake rotors on my RS4 B7 a year ago. Braking is excellent, only when driving very slow and stopping at traffic lights get a bit of a squeal, high speed hard stopping is quiet. The Reyland J-hook brake rotors look awesome. The old front brake rotors showed some cracking developing from the cross drilled holes, they still had no runout or excessive wear. Replaced because of the cracking.
Very good video for the one who doesnt know the drill ! , My question is.. Do you know any more than the rayland discs och textar discs that actually fits the rs4 b7 ? i have big trouble finding other discs than particular these two . Ive heard that these rear discs 324x22 mm is one of a kind and was made like almost only for the rs4 b7 rear
Worth mentioning is that the floating-disc fasteners are a 1-time use stretch-bolt that torque to 7.5Nm + 30° in 2 steps (not 40Nm). See supplier instruction manual: www.apracing.com/drawings/P14.289%20issue%203%20-%2030-06-2014.pdf Additionally the central aluminium bells are a wear&tear item that requires inspection prior to re-use as the groves where it slides into the disc wear out over time. It is advised to replace bells if they exceed the wear-measurements in the manual: www.apracing.com/drawings/P14.288.pdf

Why are you using 2 different models of brake pads in the car ? Are Hawk 5.0 brake pads noisy ?. Thank you.
noise and grip level
Informative video, are they 8 pot front callipers? Same as B8 model.
The brake reservoir is unscrewed while pushing the piston back on the caliper, right?
advisable yes

hello, I need advice, I want to give dba discs to rs4 b7
Does rs4’s b7 brake calipers fit on an Audi a4 b7?
not sure if its been tried. but why would you? not the greatest upgrade.

Haha thank you sir! Regarding life not sure yet. I suspect at least 3years for discs and 2 for pads. Considering the mileage I do in it.
Always clean the surface where you mount the disc to the car.
A bit of dirt will outbalance the disc.
i have a feeling i did no? but yes great advice! lots of people skip that step!

those arent stickers but cover plates from S4 B8.
thanks for the video, I'll be replacing it tomorrow
good luck!

hi. thanks. i believe its E11. but you dont actually need to take that part off. pads can slide out anyways. but its just easier if you do.

how come you don't use a stud conversion ? Lately everyone tends to put those on their performance cars

Where did you get the insert with RS logo for rear calipers? :)

Replace the brake nipples on the front calipers with titanium ones before its too late.
why would you do that?
