But absolutely, between this, Godzilla: Minus One, Godzilla x Kong, the Kong: Skull Island animated series, the Monsterverse graphic novels, Gamera even, kaiju/Godzilla fans are eating good.
We can thank legendary Godzilla for making Godzilla/ kaiju a Huge success and bringing in a massive wave of new fans and even made toho step their game up with the new Godzilla because those anime’s were garbage

You would think so, but every one thought foundation season 1 had a 10 million dollar a episode budget. But it seems the whole season cost just 40 million. It seems the guys and girls at Apple at as a whole different levels when it comes to getting the most bang for their bucks compared to Netflix and co.

Just watched Minus One in Japan, I think it would be very hard for the American version to top that. You really feel for the characters, I never thought I’d cry watching a Godzilla film. The action scene in Minus One is superb. Big guns, sea battles, this is what I want from a Kaiju movie.
I am worried that the focus on the first trailer and in here is the "Human scale story:. No bitch, we want to see monstaers against monsters. I dont want to see citizen Kane with godzilla in the background.

I prefer a human scale story, with build up for the monsters, and few scenes where you them in action but that will have a bigger impact to see. Of course it's just my opinion ^^

Theres quite a lot that happened in secret to make minus one the best it can be and its own stand alone Godzilla movie. It all started with a cameo dream sequence and now its more than just a dream.
Loving all the Godzilla love going on recently. When you look at longevity there are really only two franchises that have the overall staying power. James Bond and Godzilla both have had their ups and downs and both hands down have the legacy.
I'd add Spider-Man to that.. all of them have those enduring ingredients that will probably continue even into future generations..at least I'd think so 😅😁

Sadly, Muto Prime and any other kaiju in the comics won’t appear; the director of this show already said that this series and comics will be separate stories

My favorite is 2014 Godzilla because that actually nailed the epic atmosphere of dread and danger, whereas the others are just run of the mill summer blockbuster movies. 2014 made Godzilla feel larger than life despite the limited presence....(similar to Jaws and Jurassic Park 1).
Thank God for my uncle who introduced me to Godzilla at the age of 3 I'm now 30 and have watched every toho film and know them all like the back of my hand and now we have the monsterverse Monarch tv series Godzilla x Kong it's good to be a Godzilla fan for so many years and more to come this is a good time for anyone to become a Godzilla fan I can't wait 💫💯🔥🔥
Clearly they want to make their own show separate from the story lines in the movies. However it's kind of odd that the surviving characters from Kong Skull Island don't appear to be in the show
I love casting decisions like this. Makes the suspension of reality so much easier for the viewer. The Gandolfinis are a great example, although laced with sadness in that particular example.

Simply can't believe how many amazing versions of Godzilla are coming out. I'm actually drawing the current Godzilla comic book "Godzilla: War for Humanity." Working on this franchise is a dream come true and I'm going all out pouring my love of Godzilla into every page.
After all these years trying to make a big-budget Godzilla movie that works, someone at Legendary Pictures finally said, "Hey, let's just make a big-budget TV series" and God, I love it

I love that Kurt and Wyatt ard playing the same character. There were jokes when Wyatt played John Walker about him being one of Ego's children, so seeing them paying two different ages of the same character is great.
If Legendary's Godzilla 2014 battles against Muto Prime, it would be the most Legendary fight in the franchise up to date. Not only that, but he'd finally get his revenge for Prime parasitically killing Dagon.
Godzilla and Kurt Russell in a dazzling new spectacle, the former I could only have dreamt of as a boy and the latter as an adult. The two of them together? I'd have thought you were mad. A royal summit between two giants of entertainment. All hail the Kings.
I just love Legendary Godzilla. His design, his bear-like stature, his sheer brute force. Great kaiju.

My one problem is there’s never enough action this looks absolutely insane as long as there’s a monster spreads out ever so often
the show is mainly about MONARCH not the Titans and there is enough monster screen time to make you happy. The movies is where the action is mainly.

I love that Kurt and Wyatt ard playing the same character. There were jokes when Wyatt played John Walker about him being one of Ego's children, so seeing them paying two different ages of the same character is great.
