you advise to restrict feed in the hot afternoon, do the birds keep eating during light out periods? I thought light out was 4 restricting feeding!
Good question. My birds are under lights 24/7 for the first 4 weeks, aft they go outside to 12/12 but they don't eat at night, so I can't restrict feeding in the daytime and it Hot here all day 😔
What kind of feed to feed broiler chicken and when to change the feed
High protein feed.
It also depends on how long you intend to raise them.
If for 6 weeks to get average weight of 3KG, then feed:
Super starter (22-23% CP) for 2 weeks
Starter (20% CP) for 2 weeks
Finisher (18% CP) for 2 weeks

What you need is safe water.
Chlorination can be a way of purifying water but make sure you neutralize the chlorine if you are going to use the water for their vaccination

Good morning and win today my brother? I missed up on the cleanliness of the coob and water because i was new but your teachings are really helpful ,out 100 i lost 19 birds and the growth never went well the biggest is 1.9kg the lowest is below 1kg.
@@nalisanakwezi5386 Before you put anymore in clean The coob properly take down all The equipment And Wash them let The coob Air out a few days when you put New chicks in make Sure They are warm for The first 10 days don't enter The coob with The Same shoes you wear a round the Yard have One that you put on when entering make sure you giving them the right type of feed broiler crumble Is what They need 1-4 weeks then give Them The pillets week 5-6 make sure they always have clean water during The day make sure they are getting plenty fresh air if They get too Hot They become stress and sometimes die
