Great review! No one shows the rear pictures and I was trying to figure out if it accommodates kayak seat. Thank God for your review to answer that question and everyone elses - you rock! Peace man.
I'm super glad it helped you make the choice Doug! It's been a good PFD, a bit on the warm side in the summertime. I kinda wished they put a couple holes in the front just to let the chest breathe. You will love it though, the way it sits above the kayak seat.
hey not so if you know this the square attachment point on what you called a tape measure pocket is for a water sports knife and the little web area above it where you talked about attaching a carabiner is where the pointed end of the knife would go under it to help keep it from hanging up on somethingthanks for the video
American Psycho I haven't had a chance to get into the water yet. It's 40 degree water where I am, so I'll waiting for warmer days! :) I do plan on purposefully rolling my yak and seeing how it does. It is very comfortable with movement, I'm just not sure how easily it will allow you to be under the water. it has 15 lbs of lift so it might fight you quite a bit. :) Take it easy and enjoy that snorkeling.
That's a very nice vest, but the high back foam isn't all that high. i bought an Onyx and the foam does not clear the seatback on my Perception Pro, so I can't use it in my favorite yak. I kept it as a loaner for our guest kayaks, which have lower backrests.
Nice job on the review. I'm considering the same PFD. I'm trying to figure out which size to get. I have a 46" chest. I'm only 5'8 and about 200# and find that most of the PFD's that fit say XL on them. Can you give me an idea of your size so I can better judge?
Lawrance Morrissey hey man I'm about same as you except I have 42_43 inch chest. it will easily get to 46 chest. stomach size will go around 48-50 inch, I'm not real sure. hope that helps!
I like this guy..... I could see us being friends. An actual regular nice guy. No bad language and uses the word NEAT... like me:-) I bet you're God fearing and say yes mam and yes sir. Definitely not from CA:-)
Just got one today, love it already, excited for the years to come. Awesome video bro

Remind me off Chris Pratt for real. Just bought the vest. Thanks dude
I just read your written review on another site. It was like the text for your video. I liked them both. Good review.

Tom Jones GearGuy Wow! Thanks Tom, learn something new!
It’s designed to get wet! Of course it has a plastic zipper otherwise it would rust!
Do you still think this vest is good and holding up???
Good review! Thanks...
Ill buy it. Somr other jacket either, also when i had to flash myself. Right
Because it will make the endurance lasting for longer
Most excellent review!!!
Have you had it in the water yet? You think it'll be good for snorkeling?

Thanks man
How’s the quality of the pfd
They make great jackets. I guess it can depend on the amount of abuse. Used as just a fishing pfd and it's gonna last plenty long for the cost.
Great video

Drives me nuts that everything 'kayak' is about fishing.
