Finally someone with a balanced opinion on the heel area, which I saw as an improvement as well. The remakes are great, no question, but some reviewers seem to be too enamored with the whole 8-yo-boots-are-way-better-than-what-adidas-currently-has-on-offer narrative. Also: The .1s of these totally do not work for me as well-it’s great you mentioned it in your review of those. Many reviews did not go into the fit differences between +s and .1s. Sure, you probably have to have a certain foot shape to notice them, but they are there. Great work!

The AG version of these boots is the exact same soleplate but with extra stud. Spot on that Adidas made these (and FGs) more accommodating for artificial grass. The other change for AGs is a little less carbon fiber, then the second stud from the top middle is shorter by a couple of millimeters, but otherwise, the AGs perform just like the FGs, but at least you get the warranty coverage.

I have these cleats and they are perfect 🤩 I was a bit hesitant because of the mediocre reviews but after my air zoom mercurials the ELITE model had sole separation after a month, these are way more comfortable and durable. The only bad thing I can say about these is that they get dirty very easily but they are football boots 😂

How would you compare the upper to that of the nike mercurial 13 elites or the nike phantom gt elites. I really enjoyed the sock like and soft, not plasticky feel to the two nike cleats and was wondering how these boots compared. Thanks and really enjoy the videos!

For me, the heel just felt bouncy. Not bad but a feeling I couldn't get my head around. Although I do think that the bouncy sensation dulls/goes away with more wear time. I also think your heel matters in these for fit. For example, my heel is thin, so my heel didn't really fill in the heel pods, thus I think increased that bouncy sensation.

Hey noah, would you say that you prefer these over the new mercurials, tekela v4s, or furons?
These fit my feet better than the Vapor 15/Superfly 9 for sure, but they're not as good as EITHER of the New Balance boots in my opinion 🔥
Hi! I love the videos, and i was on the market for some cleats. Personally i'm mixed between the snapback of this and the ultra ultimates, i was wondering which one you would recommend.
Both are decent boots mate! They fit differently so you'll have to figure out which ones suit your feet best 🤝

I think part of the aggressive heel structure is to help with lock down. As the oversized pillows push your feet forward, it force it to engage with the rest of the boot. That's my designer justification anyway, Josh from SR4U likely disagrees :)
For sure! I saw his review as well - I think it just comes down to personal preference whether you like the more cushioned feel or the more raw feel in the heel area 👍🏼

That's a personal preference mate! If you want something a tiny bit less structured, go with the plastic! If you want the MOST responsive soleplate on the market, I'd go with the Carbon! 🤝 Either way I'm sure you'll be happy with your call
I have the speedportal 2 (new) and i got bllister. It's because of the shoe or because they're new?
It could be either! I would say as long as you have the correct size, try breaking them in for 4-6 hours before you decide that they're the wrong shoe. Usually if they still give you blisters even after a break in period, they're just not the right shoe for your feet!

Hey bro I just got the .1s it’s my first ever boot but my left foot feels pretty uncomfortable my big toe feels way to tight. Will they stretch or should I send them back?
They’ll stretch a little bit, but not too much! If they don’t stretch in a session or two I’d send them back
I had puma ultra ultimate and I had many issues with the upper they didn’t broke in at all , so speedportal break in easy or are similar to puma ultra ultimate?

Hi Noah, since you mentioned ankle rolling, do you have any boot recommendations for people prone to rolling ankles?
have you tried wrapping your ankle? you can use tapes or ankle wraps with laces. My right ankle rolled multiple times so its pretty weak there. Since I've been wrapping my ankle I never had that issue anymore. I am using tapes as I'm too lazy to wash the ones with laces. :)
NOTE: I wear the same boots as Noah's
@@stefanlee5139 I do strap them up yeah. Still get the occasional roll every now and then even with the straps on so thought a bit of extra stability in a boot may help a little. Cheers for the response mate.
I would focus on investing in some physical therapy and learning about exercises from the professionals about how to strengthen your ankles so that doesn't happen as often. Regardless of what boots you wear, you should first worry about your body and making it as strong as possible 💪🏼
i can’t get these as i’m only a UK 5, would you recommend me going for the .1 instead as it goes lower in size, or the junior variation, or even the speedflow+ as they go lower too?
The Speedflow+ is a fantastic option if you're into laceless boots! One of the best laceless boots of all time in my opinion. Definitely a good alternative to these! 🔥

I don’t think so!
The heel lockdown of Speedportal is way much better than speedflow, and the upper of this generation is more durable on artificial grass.

I have had shin splints for a long time. Do you think that the vapor 15 air zoom sole plate will help with that (because of the cushioning)? Or do you know any boot that is preferable if I have this type of issue?
I don't think the boots you wear will affect shin splints, I would advise you to go see a doctor or a physical therapist to help out with those! 🤝

I would go to the smaller size if I were you - they'll stretch a little bit as you wear them in and it's better to be on the snug side for a boot that has no laces/adjustability!

I don’t wear them mate - some of the worst fitting shoes I’ve had on my feet!
I like the red colorway and want to buy them but after reading some reviews about it, a lot of people said it got ripped very easy.

Great Vid currently going to get a new pair of boots after using the speedflow .1 for some time then going into the speedflow + which were great for me do you think these are that much better than the .1 ?
Fantastic mate! If you have the foot shape suitable for the .1, those will probably be better for you because of the laces and the lockdown advantages that laced boots bring. For my foot shape, the upper on the .1 was so much stiffer and less comfortable I wasn't able to wear them for longer than the review I put out - and even then they hurt my feet like crazy. Just a personal preference at the end of the day mate! 🫡

Love your videos! I have a big question! Today I went to training two times. The first one was with players 3 years bigger than me(they are better then the players around my age). The second was with players around my age. I can't believe it was harder in the second one(much harder). I don't know if it was the size of the game pitch or the difference between tactics! I'm rethinking everything in my game(talking about soccer). I thing because you are a pro something like that happened to you. Is it in my ming?
Sometimes the quality of play matters. You can make the right decision but the player you play the ball to instantly loses it. And after enough times, it can erode your confidence, even if you're playing well.
It probably depends on the situation and because I wasn't there to watch, I won't be able to give you a perfect answer. That being said, my philosophy is always this: A team sport is about the TEAM. You are part of that team. In order for the team to succeed, you need to be the best YOU can be and help others to be the best THEY can be. It's YOUR responsibility to adapt as best you can to the play style/tactics of every environment and do the best to put your teammates in the best position possible to succeed. In doing that, you'll also be doing great things on the pitch and performing to the best of your capabilities

Not for that one, no 🤝 Only for boots that I actually fancy wearing or trying to break in. The Speedportal.1 were so uncomfortable for my feet I didn't think it was worth it.
