Have you notice limited range with the antenna where it is here? I noticed if I stand at the end of the winch line when it’s fully extended, that the winch cuts out or doesn’t work whatsoever… I have to be within a few feet unless I have the antenna way up by the fenders? Is this normal? 🤔

Fun fact: The winch is also compatible with the TRX 6. Kinda obvious.

Not sure I understand, if it won’t pull back in check that you face the winch connected properly to get power.

Yes, you can use NiMh batteries, but I still recommend a 3S battery if you have it.

You would just have to get power to the winch via a jst, the winch itself has a built in controller.
