Shit is so true, that it's a damn shame. I took a young lady to a club and the first thing she did was order a $15.00 drink! Now the price of the drink is not what I cared about, but the fact that she herself wouldn't spend $15.00 on a drink if she had to pay for it was what bothered me shit is crazy!!
I noticed most young ladies are taught to keep money and pay for their own items so they aren't obligated to sleep with a man for a $15 drink or food item. You must be meeting the wrong people.

That's not the case for all women. Can't generalize. You have plenty of women that will meet you for a drink (coffee or whatever). It don't have to be dinner. You set the tone. She will agree if she is attracted to you. Eventually courting is part of relationship if that's what you are trying to establish. It don't matter what country you are in (for normal women). Now if you want to trick off with the P2P women then say so.
Problem is that not speaking a word of Spanish leaves a brother as ignorant as hell about what is going on around him. You can see he's oblivious by his comment that 'it's practically crime free' which is so far from reality it's unmeasurable. DR is infested with crime on every level of society. Ignorance is bliss when you can't read or listen to the news. Also thinks the locals rencourage foreigners to come and take their women, he's never had a conversation with a typical Dominican man, if he did he would see they tolerate him because he gives them money.
But respect to him for being honest about being cheap, it's working for him, looks happy, but he's not living in DR which is key. Leaving DR every few months is not like making DR your home. When you nèed to rely on vital things such as doctors, dentists or need to earn a living in DR you soon change your opinion on things.

It was very frustrating listening to him, but I like how you handled it. You made him elaborate and give the audience the information we really need. For instance, I like how you made him elaborate on the type of apartment you get for 1100 USD. He's starting in with some mumbo-jumbo about "Well, it depends on what you want, blah, blah, blah." i was told differently by Dominicans, i was told that they dress as police, take your money and your life, you get on a moto councho.....the mug keep driving with them on. Even though I hear Sosua is the safe city crime happens. also, flying into to Puerto plata was 1200 to 1400 dollars to get there from Kansas City, To fly to Santiago or Santo domingo was 800 dollars. Santiago about 1.8 hours from Sousa. So I rented a car. I went to a secluded beach with this fine young lady and had a ball. Its love land,

I ask another Dominican about going to Santo Domingo, he said"they will kill me there because of my jewelry" He told me to ask the lady I knew there to come to me. So She road the bus from santo Domingo o Sosua to visit me. Then after I let her go, I later saw her downtown Sousa selling ass (In think). I was told Sosua is the safest place in the Dominican, but there is a scam on every corner. So don't believe me Manny........go think you totally safe. Maybe the corrupt cops will show you what time it is.
Taylor made, I have been there 3 times,. I ask a lot of questions. I rented a car. I was stopped by the corrupt police nine time. This last time I stayed at sosua bay resort. the waiters there told me about crime and scams. I went to puerta plata during my last trip, went to the resort, one of the German guest told me that criminals in Puerto plata will hit you upside the back of the head, cut your throat, and take your money. I guess if you go to party, go as a group, there is safety in numbers. I don't go out at night, i'm always solo.

They won't even have any interest in the man, but as long as he's paying for expensive meals, they'll continue to entertain him without offering anything in exchange.. They also expect the man to have his "shit" together before he even thinks about approaching them, but most of them don't or they are heavily in debt from student loans and an over excessive life style.. Sadly, this just isnt in ATL, its H-town, Miami, L.A, Detroit, D.C etc., so this is why men are looking for better options.. It shouldn't be so difficult to approach our black women or to speak to them.. The attitude, the entitlement mindset, the drama and the materialism is out of control.. I live in ATL and see the harsh reality every day. It is true that most women in ATL or other large cities are not looking for romance or love ; instead they fall in love too quickly with what money can buy.
Most of them are very shallow, they can talk all day about Jay Z, Kardashian's diamond ring but not about your culture, romance. It is a race to get the biggest crib, the biggest ring, the nicest car, beauty salons every week even if they can not afford it. The good ones, not so easy to find sadly.
And how do you know that the guy is broke? He is living a simple, pastoral, joyful that most of us with decent employment are dreamt of.
Maybe one day I will get to have a beer with him.
