Ambient Guitar “Hidden Gold” (CBA Blooper, Strymon Volante & Bigsky, Godin Nylon)

- This video is a great example of how the Chase Bliss Audio BLOOPER pedal can function as an extremely versatile delay pedal. I have recorded a loop (to set the “delay time”) and then overdubbed it with 50% repeat plus MOD 1 (Smooth speed) switched ON and set to maximum (it gave me an octave up delay).
Then I set the Strymon Volante time equal to the Blooper and Spacing to 15 o’clock plus added some Mechanics flutter and tape Wear - that gave me some vintage tape vibe.
The rest was to add a bit of the Strymon Bigsky reverberation.

wow -- sometimes having all the right effects can enhance a song, not bury it. Very good. I think I might pull the trigger on the Chase Bliss pedal . . . . although you make it sound so easy :)
thanks! personally I would consider Blooper first of all as an experemental pedal - exceptional and really outstanding, but it's main idea is to push the boundaries of your musical creativity... it might be too pricy if one would simply need a looper or a delay...
@@MikhailMedvedev i love Chase Bliss. I think the only companies to come close to that "pushing boundaries of creativity" are Gamechanger Audio (Latvia) and Earthquaker Devices (Akron, OH).
I think you overdid the effects especially with the delay which could have been subtle.
It might have happened, especially when I record snd mix in headphones which is not really correct. Also much depends on taste.
