More consistent with YT?! You know I'm here for it, haha
So proud if you for strength training! Everyone should strength training, if you don't want to fall apart when your older
Heck yeah! I did just get a peloton because after all these years you've gotten into my head and I've now worked up to training for a half marathon. Been enjoying not having to run in -20
This makes me so happy!!
I need your youtube videos for my treadmill runs and love your podcast when I get to run outdoors! Thank you!!
Awesome! Thank you!
Yay,i miss your long form content!
I'm glad because I always feel annoying making long videos. Like having the audacity to think someone would watch a long video of me?! It's a struggle lol
Can’t wait for spring - I live for the tree tunnel!
You have come a long way! Looking so much stronger! Yay!
Thanks so much!
The method run 2 minutes walk 30 seconds helped me a lot. I was able to cut down my marathon time running it 34 minutes less than prior marathon. Recently went thru a lumpectomy surgery and took a month off running and workouts. I just ran 3 miles first time in a while Saturday and I’m so sore. Amazing what time off does to body. Looking forward to getting back to my strength workouts as that also helped my running.
Cheers to getting back to it! Way to go!
@ thank you!
@ now I’m also struggling to find a good comfortable high support sports bra to run in and be ok with my scar.. any suggestions on good comfortable high support sports bras? lol
I’m doing the discover strength with Joslyn and will have to try the split classes when it’s over. Strength is hard!
It’s hard but sometimes I enjoy strength workouts because I don’t have to wear a bra lol
I’m not saying you have ADHD but I do and that is exactly why I run!! There are a lot of us out there running to regulate our brains.
I absolutely do haha!
Don’t feel bad. I ran 13:1 on 4 minute run 1 minute walk intervals thinking that is what I should be doing. It was awful and discouraging. I now switch between 30:30, 60:30, or 90:30 depending on the run. Much better….😊
I can't believe how many people were also doing it wrong. Glad I made this video and also glad you're doing better with those adjustments
Not a runner and most of this is going over my head 😂 nevertheless i love your vibe and all your content: youtube, ig, tiktok, nonmebers only
You're a real one! I appreciate you :)
I've been battling plantar fasciits for months now, and I wear my Team Struggle Run sweatshirt to remind myself... any chance you'll do a re-release/different colors?
We’re working on setting up shop so we can print these ourselves and have more control over the quality. I’ll make sure to shout it from the rooftops when they’re ready!
Make sure you roll your calf muscles and stretch. This will help with plantar. I've had it twice and knock on wood, I've been rolling everyday and stretching with no issues. It's tough but you'll get better.
Are you using the Galloway method? I ended up getting plantar fasciitis from it with all of the starting and stopping and I eventually had to quit it for Zone 2 training.
@@AA-mm6wu No. I've been battling it since late April of last year following a 33K trail race.
@ That’s too bad. I know PF can be a pain to get rid of and keep it away.
I’d second then the other suggestion of rolling and stretching your calf muscles. PT also helps if it is really chronic.
I’m going to try to do the Rebecca Kennedy 3 day split! Wahoo for strength training
Yay! I'm so glad I stuck with it. I might try a five day one at some point but this three day split fits perfectly for running three days a week
I am interested in the gallaway method and have looked it up but I am confused. I have lost 60 pounds and want to try taking up running again. Especially while its cold out
You're not alone in your confusion! I'm going to make a more informative video about the method and my experience because I learned a lot along the way so far and made all the mistakes for you lol
Jeff-ing makes me not hate running any more!
Glad you caught the mistake now and not after a 20 mile run.
Exactly! I knew I must be doing something wrong when it started to feel way harder than people made it out to be. Thankful for the people who helped me figure it out!
Very random question, but is RUclips your full time thing? Or do you also have another job? I’ve always been curious of this and thought I’d just ask.
Valid question! RUclips is just a side project but the rest of the stuff I do (TikTok, IG, Podcast, etc) is my full time thing
@ that’s cool!
