@@hankskorpio5857 I read it as more an inadvertent thing he accidentally let slip and his daughter latched onto it. You know how kids are sponges and you might say something you don't even think about or remember even the next day...but a kid might remember that thing for a long time. You just never know what kids will latch onto or when they're listening. So I think Robin's character said something he probably didn't think twice about on a plane once, letting it slip about how he thought Asian women were pretty. It's not like he set her down and intended to tell her this. Both the daughter and son took on characters in heaven to earn admiration from their father. @@wearegeek Nice list! Yeah, the problem is we're still living through the era of these films. So it's harder for people to notice modern movies on the same scale as classics with a certain tone that have stood the test of time
The City of Lost Children was a big influence on the first 2 Fallout games even if it doesn’t look like it at first glance, and it’s the reason Ron Perlman was picked as the narrator.
One that I've always treasured since my youth was Frank Oz's "The Indian In The Cupboard" (based on the series of books of the same name). There's something very beautiful about a story revolving around a boy learning to become a man through the guidance of a tiny plastic Indian (I will forever say it as "PLAS-TEK" like Omri does) who he unintentionally brought to life with his magic cupboard that he got for his birthday

You're spot on, the 90s fantasy scene just didn't hit the same as the 80s.
