The Maximum I recommend letting the synths pile up is 24 game hours or 72 real minutes. After that, synth bodies MAY start to de-spawn, and letting the farm continue will most likely be counter productive. Cheers!

FUSION CELL FARM STILL WORKS AFTER GEN UPDATE BUT CAN BE BUGGED FOR SOME: Some of you have said its not working. I tested this myself after the two Gen updates in May both on survival and normal difficulties. It still works. The Gen Updates could have "bugged" the exploit for some, but it should still work.

You are only so helpful dude like I really wish I had only found your channel when I was playing this game because your tips really would have changed my whole playthrough. Just knowing like a little bit of things here and there would have totally changed my approach. Like that synth spawn actually blew my mind bro

@@Neve2 I don’t think so sadly, I’d just look up the scrap duplication glitch. Sell that for ammo, or make ammo production machines and use scrap dupe for that
i normally just sat there for 20 mins that usually farms enough to last a while
Yeah is crazy how much you can get even just for 20 minutes!
It's a good exploit The only problem is The bodies keeps disappearing
very true. i just made a pinned comment addressing this. After 24 in game hours(or 72 minutes), bodies may start to disappear :)

Hmm I never tried with dogmeat. I think because of his unique status and mechanics like fetching, the carryweight exploit might not work with him.

Sadly you can't repeat quests
It works post update on PS5. You just have to have it on survival. Doesn’t work in any other difficulty for me.
Edit: I tried it on today and it works for both normal and survival difficulties, so it should work in general. Just takes a bit for the bodies to pile up
Unfortunetly they fixed it. At least now when i tried mission two times it spawn just around 10 synths and then they stopped spawning while paladin said that its all of them.
Oh man out of all the thousands of bugs they didn't fix, they fixed one exploit? Lmao. I will test it this weekend and if true ill make a pin comment
Change difficulty to survival and it should work

@@AslanYeet As somebody mentioned it if you are playing on survival it probably still works. But for me on very hard its not working. I tried reload save and do whole mission again and it again spawned just a few of them. Also i play vanilla game.
It does work, you just have to let it sit for a while. It seems like the bodies are disappearing super fast at first and that it isn't working, but they slowly start piling up. I almost gave up but then let it sit for about 10 mins and realized it is working. Started doing it last night into about an hour ago, am now at over 10k cells and 130+each institute guns (varieties)
You know that years worth of mods render this kind of stuff completely useless right?
Not everyone wants easy short-cuts provided by mods. One could argue console commands makes a lot of mods useless :) Depending on your place style, a base game exploit can come in handy
Sorry if I came across like a dick. I just figured that most console players would have mods at this point because it fixes many of the issues of the unmodded game.
Not at all. The unofficial fallout patch is pretty much all you need if you want to keep the base game intact. There is a good chunk of fallout players rocking out crazy mods for sure. Personally I'm all about the base game,. To esch their own :)
its been patched it dont work at all survival mode dont work
Nope it still works. I tried it on this morning on both normal and survival difficulties. It just takes a bit longer for bodies to start piling up.

I don't think it got patched but the gen update somehow made it buggy
