I suggest (this is coming from me, a Filipino who migrated to the Statewhen I was 14) to foreigners/vloggers to stop saying/or mentioning how cheap you got your place. Just mention how much you pay monthly and let the subbies decide whether it is affordable to them or not. I know more and more foreigners stay there to retire and places for rent will be tight or will be high in demand. Filipinos in the rental business seeing videos like these mentioning cheap rents won't be long will start raising prices (and I think that is the same anywhere in the world--the greed is there). When that happens, that won't be fun to vlog about and you ending up somewhere else you will not like. I think that should be the way to deliver the message to convince others to come by not saying that word (cheap). Just my opinion.
@@ryanjones7543 I disagree, plus as these “Rosie” video attract more expects, the demand will pick up, reducing supply resulting in higher rents. As an aside, I don’t know if it is a good idea to give out to much info on where you or Mark live. There have been multiple “RUclipsrs” in the US that have relatively small channels that have had multiple cases of viewers just showing up at their doorstep unannounced and out of the blue, expecting to hang out.

Nice place. Couldn’t ask for more really. Is the water temperature running out of the tap cold or can you shower in it? Nice dogs but I have heard your better off getting a local dog as imported dogs don’t last so long for one reason or another.
The temp is fine, a little chilly in the morning. The owner of the property got the dogs here in Dumaguete from a local breeder. He got them when Brutus and Shine were puppies. Those 2 are 5, and Shadow is 9.
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 I have been considering it for some time ....Was thinking of going for 3 weeks in June with a buddy of mine (who is not looking to move), but he can't do it. Marks said on his channel that he only pay $600.00 U S dollars a month to rent the upstairs. With that much space 4 bedrooms 3 baths it's a great deal.
@@leonardmarlin4330 that is correct! Also Mark has been here for years, and basically runs the place while the owners are gone; so he’ll probably have his place @$600 forever. They are already treating me like family, and I’ve been there for 1 week!
Wow lucky you. I was at Marks for dinner last December and I inquired about the availability there and there was nothing at that time. I’m so jealous!!!!!!!!

Thanks for supporting the channel pietromora! It’s not a matter of maintaining the pool. These are actually fish ponds that had tilapia and mud fish. They were here before the house or any structures. The owner kept them full and fully stocked, but a previous tenant who lived here, that had a drinking problem also had a 2 year old daughter. The owner was concerned she may fall in. The owner would fill them back up if he were living here, but he’s in Sydney at his other beach house, because they want a better education for their sun. I wish they were still full. I’d love to dive off my porch and come back with a tilapia!

the kind of content we need
Thanks for supporting the channel JC! Let me know if there’s anything else that you are interested in seeing
That is EXQCTLY what I'm looking for! I plan to move in 5 years and have been thinking Bacong is the place because I want to be in the water each day to swim for my health, love to cook, want seafood and a small place on the water.. You've shown me I was right, thanks.
Yes, the water in Bacong and Dauin is much nicer than Dumaguete 😉
Are there any apartments to rent at moment?? I'm in damaguete and looking
You scored big time with this place. Enjoy!
Thanks for watching and subscribing Robert! Yes, this is literally what I dreamed about when I started planning to come here in 2020!
Great view, indeed!
Great video! Living the dream!
Thanks Bills! Yes, this place just made a great life an AMAZING life! I highly recommend coming if you’re thinking about it!
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 I have been considering it for some time ....Was thinking of going for 3 weeks in June with a buddy of mine (who is not looking to move), but he can't do it. I'm thinking of just heading out on my own, which is a little intimidating, considering just getting my phone to work there may be a problem because of my technologically challenged self! LOL How long have you been there?
Nice
Thanks man, you get an invite when you get back to the Philippines!
Very nice 🍀 lucky you
Thanks for supporting the channel Billy!! Yes, I wake up every morning in such a peaceful state seeing the sunrise and hear the waves crashing
Nice place.. you must be an animal lover. They can sense it..👍🏼
Yeah, the 3 of them sleep on my porch and shadow, the oldest usually goes wherever I am
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 I know the feeling. I get the same effect on them.👍🏼
Wow, just incredible. It looks like every man has a story, pays real well. 3k ft of living space on the beach.
You could do ballroom dancing in there!
19 thousand views! You’re a star.
Hahaha! It’s amazing how many views and subscribers this video got me! I am very grateful!
Wow lucky you. I was at Marks for dinner last December and I inquired about the availability there and there was nothing at that time. I’m so jealous!!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching Cary! So you know how nice the compound is then. I love it!
I must visit that area looks very pleasant.
Thanks for watching and subscribing John! Yes, Bacong and farther south in Dauin are much more relaxing than Dumaguete. Valencia is great little town at the foot of the mountains to visit too!
Great place 👍
Thanks for supporting the channel Donquixote! I got lucky, but these kind of places open up all of the time here!
ah fresh coconut water, congrats
Yes, first time I had it…didn’t like it at the outside temp, but it was great once I put ice in😉
Nice video Kevin just subscribed I’m also in Valencia east balabag god bless
Thanks for subscribing Roy! I really enjoyed living in Valencia and will continue to go back and eat at Paco’s Tacos and Mexicana Restaurant!
You really scored with that place. Best wishes my friend
Thanks Robert, I love this place!
That's a nice studio apartment for $330. I would have taken that if I was there.
Thanks for supporting the channel Erik! I do love it! Waking up to the waves crashing every day is AMAZING!
Great video good camara
Thanks for watching Rafael! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’m using a GOPRO Hero 11

Thanks for watching Keith!
Hello , just subscribed . Very cool.
Thanks for supporting my channel Cherrietsuda! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Let me know if there’s anything you would like me to cover specifically
Sort of reminds me of the Robin Masters estate from the TV show Magnum P.I.
Some else mentioned that. I didn’t watch the show….my mom loved Tom Selleck though 😂
An outdoor pizza oven would be a great addition to the outdoor kitchen.
Thanks for watching Rene! Yes, I was going to get one off of Amazon, but I found out Hyper Mart(their Walmart) carries them. They don’t have the one I want but should have it soon. I’ll definitely do a video of a pizza party with my friends and neighbors when I get it
Congratulations, living the dream.
Thanks for watching jwhite, I am enjoying every day over here!
very nice
Thanks for watching Mike. Glad you liked it
It's beautiful! I'm so tsunamiphobic I don't know if I can ever live close to the ocean again....
Thanks for watching benedictus! You can’t let fear deprive you of living your life to the fullest! I think you should take a chance and move here😉
wow your so lucky!
Thanks for watching and subscribing mgillanders! Yes, i still get excited everyday when I wake up here
Looks great although pity someone can't maintain the pool.
But for the price great cheers 🍻 👏
Thanks for supporting the channel pietromora! It’s not a matter of maintaining the pool. These are actually fish ponds that had tilapia and mud fish. They were here before the house or any structures. The owner kept them full and fully stocked, but a previous tenant who lived here, that had a drinking problem also had a 2 year old daughter. The owner was concerned she may fall in. The owner would fill them back up if he were living here, but he’s in Sydney at his other beach house, because they want a better education for their sun. I wish they were still full. I’d love to dive off my porch and come back with a tilapia!
@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 yeah no worries mate
Welcome to Negros Oriental
Thanks for watching and subscribing enroutenegros! Thanks for the welcome. Dumaguete is the City of Gentle People! Everyone has been very kind and helpful to me!
Nice back yard !!!!!

Great video mate cheers
Thanks man, this place is awesome!
Nice compound
Thanks for watching nomad! I love this place!
Hello im looking a place here in Dumaguete during my 1 month vacation. Thats a nice
Thanks for watching Julie! If you’re only here for 1 month, I might suggest you try Airbnb. They give discounts for 1 month, the place will be fully furnished, and all of your utilities will be paid. You can run you air conditioner 24 hours per day 😉
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 Your welcome Tim. Yes only 1 month and airbnb okay for me 2 bedrooms i need. Thank you for your time
Very nice property. I love that you're on the beach, most of the time mo need for reefs, but how is the storm surge? I'd love to rent right there.
Thanks for watching Keahi! It hasn’t rained since I’ve been here, but they said the water never made it onto the property when Typhoon Odette hit . They did lose 6 mango trees though
Oh wow..beautiful and refreshing sight compared here in Manila 😊 We have to drive for 3 to 4 hours to be on the beach unlike you, it's just in your backyard. 😊👍
Thank you again for watching Karen! Let me know if there’s a topic you would like me to cover 😉
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 Random talks or storytelling are good contents... just do your own thing with style will be interesting 😊
Thanks for watching Karen! Yes, I’m very fortunate 😉
Hey, that champion boxer lives there!
As soon as you walked outside I knew where you were. And I dont even watch his channel all that often.
Thanks for supporting the channel Mike! I love it here
No that is the Dumaguete Bay not Bohol Sea., its right across Dumaguete.
NOPE!! The Dumaguete Bay is in Dumaguete. What you are seeing is in Bacong…almost Dauin. Thanks for watching 😉
