    I sometimes play with control and play very comfortably. My advice is to keep the left joystick practically all the time facing forward (as if in GTA V or Call Of Duty you were moving forward) and at the moment when you are going to enter a curve, slide (while pointing up/front) little by little to one side or the other. When you simply make the joystick to the left or right (from the center) the movement is very abrupt, and in that other way the movement can be smooth if you need it or fast and direct if you want it too.

    • @leoG017
      @leoG017 Год назад +8

      Yeah it is really abrupt because of the controller stick re-centering. I think thats what they fixed with the precision driving feature in f1 23. The solution u suggested (keeping the stick up) would be a good solution for f1 22 and older games but it gets too much time getting used to, and everyone is gonna switch to f1 23 cuz we all fed up with f1 22 for realll.

The agressive turn makes it easier to navigate in those tight areas. Monaco is still almost impossible to do a great lap on with controller but still working on it. Great advice! I've used a controller for the past three years, with automatic gears, ERS assist, full TC, and ABS but finally got a Logitech G29 for the new game. Austria is a great track how to learn to play without assists. Its a short track, good braking zones, fast cornering and just do 100 laps and slowly turn off assists 1 by 1. Good luck!

    • @danielalmond3272
      @danielalmond3272 Год назад

      Personally I'd start off with manual gears. It'll soon become second nature and then you can figure out the others. ERS isn't too difficult. Dropping to medium traction can be tricky at first, you can no longer just flatten the accelerator, but I wouldn't recommend even trying zero traction on F1 22. Wait for 23 as zero traction there is apparently closer to medium on 22 anyway. ABS was the one I learnt last - you need to drive 'correctly' before that becomes possible really, otherwise you'll be locking up left, right and centre.

    Jarno, ga je het spel ook nog in VR uitproberen?
    Ik kreeg in F1 22 altijd het gevoel dat de FOV te nauw ingesteld stond in vergelijk met iRacing of ACC bijvoorbeeld, waardoor alles supersnel op je af leek te komen. Helemaal aangezien ik nog een HTC Vive heb (Pimax Crystal in bestelling), waar je door de lage resolutie dus zo'n lekkere hordeur hebt; kortom je ziet in de verte geen reet... laat staan je rem punt of de apex.

    Ive played F1 since 2006, and till now im always playing with controller 😅
    I'm on AI 107 - 110 so im hyped that this game will support controllerdriver more like the last game. F1 22 was the worst F1 for me with controller since ive played F1 games, in F1 22 i had to lower the AI to 103 - 105 😂

      You need to understand that this game is the same as last year's, as always, they copy paste the same base. Made some texture updates and modify a few things, then sell it out 10 euro more expensive because it´s 2023.

    Since I changed to a wheel years ago I simply can't play on a pad no more. I completely lost the feeling of playing with a pad and to be fair I ain't fun at all to play on a pad when you have a wheel imo.

    110 on controller. I havemt played F1 in years just do to controller. I may try 23, not sure yet. I play GT on PS5 with all off but TC1 in the car, maybe a switch to 2 if freak fast cars. But to assists. So wondering if possible. Hard to tell cause this guy has a a lot of skill.
