Hello from Colorado. I am looking for a Roadtrek and your videos gave me information that will help me in my search. With all you have done with Bob I take it you are happy with it. It will be for my pup and I for some road trips and staying around Colorado.
Yup, pretty happy with it especially the very reasonable 14.5 mpg which is pretty good for an RV with the gas prices what they are. Just now replacing the A/C which just failed this year after 24 years (next video). We love going to Colorado and will likely do more trips there since my sister has relocated to Denver. Good luck with your search!
Sloppy steering in vans is pretty typical and it happens at fairly low mileage. Same with front suspension and brake issues. It's because there is so much weight forward in vans, and most of the braking power is always in the front on vehicles. Class B conversions are especially susceptible to early wear of these components due to the extreme load thay are under, being RV's. Check that transission, too. Service it often. The oversized cooler often isn't enough. Nice rig, though.
We enjoyed you video. We have a 97 Dodge Road trek 190 popular that probably needs new shocks. You replaced with Bilsteins. Do you remember the shock numbers. I have searched, but not sure which ones to order. Have you been satisfied with them? Thanks, happy camping.
I ordered the shocks from BilsteinLifts.com. Pretty certain the part was: www.bilsteinlifts.com/shop/dodge/bilstein-b6-4600-front-shocks-for-1995-1998-dodge-b3500/ DO NOT ORDER FROM SHOCK WAREHOUSE as they sent me the wrong shocks and never refunded my return! In any case there are two Bilsteins that potentially work. One for 4500+ pounds on the front end and one for less. I finally figured out that the lighter shocks were the correct ones for the Roadtrek.
Excellent technician
Really nice rig. Super cute dogs.
They are! ;-)
Thank you for this video. Very helpful.
Nice work in The BOB, I have a RT-99D190P and Im planning to install the Steering Stabilizer, you give a good information about, thankyou.
We just bought a 1994 Roadtrek & have the steering wheel issue where there’s a lot of play. Thank you for the information! 🤗
Glad to help!

Is there a video or reference on how to install the steering box brace?
I heard there’s a sensor in the engine compartment for that ac switch issue
