I have an 06 Chevy Roadtrek 210,which is wider, longer, and heavier than the 190. It seems raising it 5" would make it unstable. Have you had anybody do a 210? The tanks and everything in a Roadtrek are really low to the ground, and would like to raise the van to get more clearance for the undercarriage.
Cool stuff man, my 2018 2500 savana has you front spacers, I'm in Canada and our money doesn't go far over in the USA or I'd have a lot more of weld tec on it
Thanks Mark! The great part about our Chevy kit is they can be built incrementally. You're on step one with the spacers. We are about to release a new cast spindle, which is significantly cheaper than our current TIG welded one. We also offer financing. Give us a call and we'd be happy to discuss future option for your build. 619-596-9831.
I just ordered the 5" kit, leaf springs and shocks. I am getting it installed In Vancouver Canada by North Shore Off-Road Inc when it arrives!! My van is exactly like the one in this video and I was wondering what size rims and tires were on this van? Is this as big as I could go without having rubbing or having to trim body parts. Looking forward to getting those spots down that trail by the lake, that are not an option right now. Plus it just looks way better!!
I have a 2011 Road Trek and I will most likely be making this 5" lift modification to it. But, and maybe this is not the forum for this, please let me know, I have issues with my door locks locking and unlocking. I have heard it might be a short in the wiring running along the wall of the unit. Have you all heard of this and if so, what did you do to repair it?
Hello. Unfortunately, we don't make many parts for the 1500s. I'd recommend giving our sales department a call so we can point you in the right direction.
Thanks for your interest. Here is a link to the kit. If you have any questions, please give us a call at 619-596-9831. weldtecdesigns.com/product/wtd-chevrolet-express-gmc-savana-5-lift-kit-w-progressive-leaf-springs/

You would think that but it is more stable with better suspension on it built for the weight of the van.
These Roadtreks really need the lifts!!
Absolutely! Don't want to mess up those pretty side skirts and the progressive leafs make a huge difference on these camper buildouts.
This looks awesome! Tons of information was given to me.

Do you use these lift kits on Roadtreks with rear airbag suspension already on it?

We recommend 33" or 285s with 17X8.5 | 17"X9 wheels. Send us some pics of your rig when it's done!
There must be a fair bit of trimming to get 33” in there!!! I’ll send the photos in a few weeks
It's great to hear all this information; very helpful!
Thank you! Glad we were able to help.
