I like how Mark went down and did the lower part Freddie did live on the 2nd chorus no time for losers. It sounded like his voice was just about finished just like Freddie’s was at the same time during a Queen show.
He can do the higher version, but why not have some fun with it? Especially at the end of a two hour show.
Marc does it purely for the sake of variety, as the final chorus proves!
He sounds and sings like a young Freddie at some point but also while sounding like himself.
Yes he sounds like Freddy young but when when he tries to give the grave vocal is never the same I mean when Freddy opens his mouth bigggg we are the champions my friend is too down the hill he cannot do it I am sorry I adore Freddy but the guy is great I mean I am not saying he is not good but there are some parts of the song he doesn’t carry on I mean he sounds like himself great Marc but that voice needs more maturity is all I say

I saw this show at the Alabama Theater in Birmingham and it was by far the best concert I've ever been too. Absolutely fantastic!
Notice they will be touring Queen"s A Night at the Opera with Marc AGAIN early next year. Watch for it.

Rami's Oscar win brought me here. I did not know about Marc. He's very talented, yes. If you close your eyes, you can hear/see Roger on the drums😉. The band members are also quite good and well-practiced in Queen's music. I gave a thumbs up for the drummer. I was one in the 70s.

I think Queen doesn't want Marc fronting them because he sings too much alike. it's not that it's bad (it is amazing that he can sing it perfect on spot and got 80-90% similar voice) but rather the memories they have on stage as Queen. There was already a Freddie and he was a legend so no one can take the place of that.
They did however select Marc to sing many of the songs in the movie Bohemian Rhapsody. I saw Marc in concert a few years ago and he is amazing. Close your eyes and you'd think Freddie was on stage.
Adam Lambert is a drama queen, no pun intended. He sounds NOTHING like FM, but Marc Martel does..!!! Also, Black Jacket Symphony is his band I think. ?
@@ravenleader5618 Queen chose Adam because he was the better man, the far better vocalist, far better entertainer, has far better presence on stage, far, far more vocal strength and power. And yes, Adam is theatrical, he’s flamboyant, he’s camp, he’s colorful, and he’s fricken fabulous on stage. Everything Queen is known for, Adam brings it. Plus that incredibly, phenomenal powerhouse voice. I really think that Brian and Roger felt that Martel would have destroyed the band had they chosen him. People would have resented that they hired a Freddie copycat and felt they insulted Freddie’s memory. They would never do that to Freddie. He was their dear friend who they loved and respected. Why in hell would they have wanted a Freddie imitator to front a band like Queen. What a ridiculous idea. Brian and Roger are not dumb.
