I got a blue and white one for Christmas when I was a kid first time I had ever seen or owned an everslick board they had just came out I loved that board Indy trucks and a set of slime balls was a awesome setup love Santa Cruz
This is perfect, because A: I have the same Ace 55 black, B: I wanted to buy the SCS everslick deck online but I worried too much that it would force me to upgrade to a wider truck. Sure it looks like 55 will fit nicely with the board. I probably need to get a bit wider wheels tough, mine is 33mm wide. Anyway, thanks for the video.
Silent Skater, Hey there man Frosty guy here, Omg I haven't seen this deck by Dressen since I bought mine in the 90's or so and it's a sweet ass board and I love everything about it and size. Now my only problem for me is trying to find a legit online store that sell these decks and I want to buy one again since I lost mine due to a fire in my apartment in 2015 so really I lost everything that day. I need to find a place who sell these and oh mine was a blue color everslick as well and I had Independent trucks 169 and some small toxic wheels back in the day so I don't remember the real name to the wheels but I do like these 56mm though that your showing us here. Do you have a legit online store link where I can still buy this deck? I'm trying to put a board set up so it can be ready by summer time and I do need me some exercise since i'm indoors gaming alot and I do miss feeling free in skating like I was when I was young and now i'm 45 years old so yeah I hope you can help me out on where to buy.
I just got done watching your video and I must say you did a great job in setting it up and I like your work on it so i appreciate you showing us this video so thank you for this. :)
Sorry for not being active on my channel. I really don't have a link to a webshop, I guess you might have the deck already since a year or 2 has passed 😅 Cheers! Silent
Both trucks will work just fine. Eric Dressen himself rides 159's. The ace classics 55 that I ride is just between indys 159s and 169s. I will actually test out indy 159 soon and eventually lurpiv 159 that I just ordered.
ACE AF1 66 or classic 55's will match this board good but also a 159 truck like indy or Lurpiv. Classic 66's will be too wide but it also comes to personal preference as always.
@@TheReal_DeanDACE classics 55 works good. I actually sold this deck. I find it hard to ride decks with no convavity in the tail. Probably just a problem for me since I rotate boards I'm riding all the time. I like Welcome, Anti Hero, Krooked, Polar and Black Label the best for example. But I am a bit curious to try this deck again but the updated version with 14.6" wheel base. Everything else was great on this deck except flag tail and a bit short wheel base.

Ace classic 55 is perfect for this deck when it comes to match the width 😊

are 159s or 169s better on this??

@@silentskater5857 Please post your test results as I'm curious. Ace 55 Classics can be had at a cheaper price vs. Indy 159s.
ACE 66 would be perfect...they're 9.25 if I'm correct.
