Have we left out any news intro that you would like to see? Follow these steps
1) It has to be a news program
2) The channel must be from Europe and has to broadcast nationally:
-Belgium and Switzerland are excluded from this rule. However, the channel must broadcast in all its linguistic area.
-We will not be including regional channels (TV3 in Spain; RTRS in Bosnia and Herzegovina) nor international channels (France 24, Russia Today).
-A country is 'European' when it is universally agreed that it is part of the continent or it is a member of the Council of Europe.
3) If you can, provide us with a link (in HD if possible).
4) In case of a news channel, we are looking for a specific news program and not round-the-clock news.
5) Only one news intro for every channel in the same language

And in the case of Spain, you can subtract Real TV from the total.
Ukraine has many news channels
In France : 5 24/7 news channel, 9 national channel news and a LOT of régional and local channel newspots

Please note that as of 15/07/2019, the BBC are using new typefaces for their news and BBC Newsnight has a new intro.
And it uses it's new typeface "BBC Reith".

Some TV networks try too hard. Some intros are ugly because the designers try to do too much. They are too ‘busy’, visually, with not enough central focal point. It’s neither impressive nor modern to use every effect. The result is not ‘clean’ but instead it’s messy, overblown, confusing, chaotic, naive. My favourites: NRK Norway; ARD Germany; ITV United Kingdom; TF1 France; RTVSLO Slovenia. I would also say TVP Poland, which is really cool, but it’s ruined by an ugly, old-fashioned font design at the resolution title.

@@heirofptah So, in 2015 Poland was ruled by the Civilian Platform (PO) party together with the Polish People's Party (PSL). Then the people from TVP decided in the new intro that the Palace of Culture and Science (this Stalinist tower block) will appear at the end. In autumn 2015, parliamentary elections were won by Law and Justice (PiS), which for a month and a half tinkered with the intro (not to mention that since then Wiadomości has become a propaganda tube of the government to this day) and finally the Royal Castle appeared instead of a communist symbol.
At us in a few days the second round of presidental elections will happen and if Trzaskowski (PO) win with Duda (PiS), Trzaskowski would for example delete TVP's news channel - TVP Info (something that he was talking about during the election campaign, but this is unlikely to happen).

For your 2020 compilation: We have a new news station here in Austria named Puls 24. It's part of the Puls 4 network.
TV3 Ziņas has a new, better intro and studio, and LNT was shut down (they made it into a woman channel tho there are like 4 of them and nobody watches it). decision of LNT shut down was controversial here

What a coincidence. We've been working on that for almost a year. It hasn't been easy, but we now have about 30 minutes of European 1980s news intros. As a Greek myself I can tell you compared to the other channels Open has a fantastic ident, Open TV only launched in 2018, however their new ident isn't as great as the 2018-2019 one. Also for the other Greek channels, ERT changed their news ident in early 2020 (I really like it) and completely changed its logo and look in late 2020, Alpha changed their news ident in September 2020 (still not great and even copied VTM Niews), Star didn't change theirs at all (Although I hate their ident), ANT1 only had minor changes to theirs (big fan of their ident), Skai didn't change theirs at all (Skai normally is a pretty clean channel when it comes to making idents and logos, so I am pleased) and Mega returned from its closure in 2018 and imo have the cleanest idents I've seen in Greek TV. Apart from Star and Alpha, I am impressed by our idents and in general we have improved a lot from our laziness in idents throughout the early 90s until the mid 2000s
