That sums it up. "It felt like a bunch of kids making a movie in their basement" It was quirky and terrifying and as a kid it was fun every second watching those movies. Absolutely fun.❤
Right ? It's like Ted and Bruce said when you're 20 you'll do anything and just don't care. Oh how it must be a dream come true to work in an environment that's made for 20 year olds to let loose and do anything in the name of art. The final product is proof because you can see every person put 100% effort into their job no matter how painful it might've got. I love the 80's filmmaking of no CGI, so it's all imagination, and them just winging it because they didn't know better, and or it had never been done before.
This doc is incredible. I don't know how you got all this info unless you were there. Evil Dead II is a classic, for sure. I saw it in college when I was 18 and loved it. EDIT : I've seen Richard on Home Shopping Network while channel surfing, ( I feel I have to justify that !) and never knew that was him ! He's such a dork I never put 2 and 2 together. Also, I had NO idea Ted Raimi was Henrietta. She was so terrifying. Teddy rules !
I remember watching Evil Dead 2 for the first time around 1991 here in the uk and being absolutley petrified aswell as phyisicaly sick ..no other film apart from john Carpenters The Thing has ever made me feel like that ....an absolutely awesome film ...i also loved Ash vs Evil Dead i thought it was a great continuation of the series ...id love to see just one more season or film just to finish Ash's story
I Love evil dead ll 👍🏻

Wow. The sacrifices made for this film are staggering
