Beautiful and stunning. I loved it when the mist flow into you and soaked you. This is one thing every NF visitor should take. What a great experience.
Haha this is right up your alley! Probably the easiest set of falls you’ve seen though 😉. Yeah we wrongfully assumed the boat would turn more to let our side see better too. Still great views from anywhere though
At 1:56 where were you, on the boat? It seems like for most of the video the boat is far away from the falls but at 1:56 it’s like you’re right up against the waterfall.
For that shot, we are not on the boat - we are just showing briefly that it is a thing you can do (Bbecause we did do it), and that is something you can see while you are on the boat tour.
@@MagellanandGreyhound it was incredible, haven’t seen it since I was a kid. Now my kids have been able to witness it. The water mist was surprisingly warm and the falls itself was beautiful. We’d like to visit Toronto and if we do we will definitely make a stop again at Niagara!
I'm with you there! We would love to visit the other side too. One commenter on this or one one of our other Niagara videos said, you see the falls on Canadian side but you feel them on the American side.
Thank you for the great video. Is it tough to get a photo of yourselves with the falls in the background? It seems like there would be so many people in the background that would block the falls. Maybe there is another spot more practical to take that type of picture? Thank you
It isn’t too hard. The boat isn’t too packed so you can maneuver somewhat. That said there are better spots to be when you board but any place you are is still great
I don't think there were changing rooms, but there were restrooms to do so. We didn't need to change because the ponchos kept us pretty dry. We did another video on Cave of the Winds and I got absolutely soaked with the ponchos but the sun dried me off pretty fast.
@@MagellanandGreyhound This was back in the 90's we are talking many years ago. I know they do speak French in Canada but next to nobody in Ontario speaks it.

It’s wild that you just go right up to this massive waterfall.
Hi Suri! What’s one thing every NF visitor should take?
What a wonderful experience!!! These falls are amazing and I loved the POV 👍
Hard to describe or show how amazing they were!
I actually rode the maid of the mist back in 1973. I was only 17 and remember being really scared! Lol
Ahahaha
I’ll be there next week for my 61st birthday 🎉 I can’t wait!! 🤗 And thanks for the tip about being on the US side 🫶
Happy future birthday! And have fun!
@@MagellanandGreyhound thanks 💕
Happy belated Birthday!
Thank you for sharing your stay in our hometown of Niagara Falls! What was your most memorable experience here?
Cave of the winds 😉
looks beautiful
It’s so much fun!
Such a different perspective! Sadly we didn't do the boat tour when we were in the area, but I would have loved to do that! Another awesome tour.
Maybe next time! It was a pretty fast tour, both getting on the boat and the ride itself.
That is what I’m talking about. 🤪 We had a good spot at the front of the boat. I think you really need a good spot for the best experience.

Last time I was there and did this was when I was a kid. I've always wanted to go back and take my kids
Sounds like you should plan a trip in the future with the kids! 😁
We’re heading there in few days. We’re 56 years old and never been there.
@@dgh5223 that’s awesome! Hope you have a great time
How did it go?
Im going friday..labor day weekend..i cant wait!!
That’s awesome! That’ll be a crazy weekend 😁
It was crazy!! I loved this ride!! Just a huge rush!! @@MagellanandGreyhound
Awesome! You're making me want to go again haha
Exelente Video es lo que me falto a mi para completar ese tour.
Thank you 😊

@@matthewquering7028 no problem!
Is the upper deck wheelchair accessible?
@@persononjupiter9333 I am not sure about the top deck, but I know the ride generally is.
I went on my birthday today may 29th it was fun
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Great place to celebrate 😀
We just went yesterday (Canadian side) your skies were clearer and your camera is way better 😂😂
Ahaha, well at least you went! What did you think of it?

What do you where on your feet you get soaked?
You can wear water shoes but honestly your feet shouldn’t get too wet on this ride. Most people didn’t cover their feet

@@MagellanandGreyhound which spots do you recommend? Going this weekend.
Hi can you answer after you had a great experience on ride, how you guys manage to change you clothes there .. ?

Very nice sharing my dear respected friend full support and Big likes from Ahmed Ali Nizamani 💕🥰💞..
Thank you!
How long is the boat ride
It’s like 15 or 20 minutes. Getting on the boat takes longer haha
How long does the tour last?
@@cranium1441 it’s short. Maybe 15 - 20 minutes if that?
What month max that you can take the boat to explore niagara ? Thank you
I think they don’t open up until early spring, and go until November.
The Maid of the Mist is only located on the USA side. The Canadian side is a completely different company as of 2014.
Super water falls
They definitely are!
do you get motion sickness from the boat ride?
As a person who gets motion sickness, none. No motion sickness at all.
So want to do this!!!
It was a lot of fun! You two should do an Adirondacks trip and add this to the mix 😉
I'm here because I am watching the 1953 movie Niagara staring Marilyn Monroe. Now I want to go.
Well now you just have to go 😁
@@MagellanandGreyhound I think I will, one of these days. It's only a 6 hour drive
How many elevators are there? I have claustrophobia.
I remember when I was on that boat ride they were speaking French. I have no idea if they still do.
Really? I don’t remember hearing it so maybe not anymore.
@@MagellanandGreyhound This was back in the 90's we are talking many years ago. I know they do speak French in Canada but next to nobody in Ontario speaks it.
Did Superman drop by to save a kid?
No, and we didn't get a hot dog or freshly squeezed orange juice either. :(
We are going tomaro
Great Video! We did Maid of the Mist few months ago and had a lot of fun. There is a video on our channel in case you are interested.
Niagara is a really great area. Glad you had fun too!
Do you need a passport
Unless you’re coming from Canada, no. Canada does the same tours on theit side too though. Red ponchos ;)
Lmao @ us great lakes 😂😂😂
