I would add Whirlpool State Park to the list of "must see" places in Niagara Falls. They got rid of the highway that used to run along the gorge, and the entire U.S. side is a green trail and you can walk down to the edge of the river at Whirlpool State Park to see the rapids.
Canadian side and pay to go under the falls, so worth it. Its thunderously loud, and tunnels lead to within 5 feet of the water rushing in front of you. So powerful is the best way to describe it. Did this 40 years ago and is still a highlight !
I heard you can do that! That sounds like so much fun. We’re hoping to check out the Canadian side on a separate trip to Toronto. We had a tight itinerary this trip unfortunately.
Have been on the Canadian side a number of times, but never the US side...looks like I am going to have to change that. Always love it there. Take care and have a great week. Bruce and Otis
I may have been there in the 70s too, I think, but of an age where I was too young for this world to remember anything. It was nice either way to experience now. Have you been to the Canadian side?
@@MagellanandGreyhound I think we were only on the American Side. Remember being fascinated reading a book we got at the gift shop about daredevils who had gone over the falls in barrels.
This is such an amazing list of things to do. Unfortunately we didn't visit all these places when we visited NF back in 2012. Maid of the mist was my favorite. The illuminations and the fireworks were spectacular. The Trolley ride seems fun to try..) Great Video.
I am not kidding I was at Niagara yesterday too. But side note you should have included the whirlpool jet tours. I know they are not right at the falls but it is only a 10 minute drive and 45 minutes of chaos!
My wife and I went up twice per year until covid. Canadian and American sides. They didn't mention the jet boat rides on the rapids, yes it's expensive but you need to do it at least one time. We went in July and October. The only problem in October was some things were closed for the season. Looking forward to 2024.
Im from Nicaragua I just watched all of your videos and I think they're very nice and interesting and one of the things I want to do one day is see this in person, you need to come here and visit our places, San Juan del Sur maybe
For someone who likes to live vicariously through others youtube videos, I will finally have to get off the couch and experience this as well. lol damnit
Been to Niagara Falls about 40 times in my life lol I only live 2 hours away I know most every view point by heart Terrapin Point is my Favorite spot out of all the views on both sides
@MagellanandGreyhound I went to Niagara Falls to Sundays in a Row I've got conditions down to a since when I comes to how humidity and wind effects the mist now a east wind at Terrapin Point will push that mist cloud in the gorge reveling a Clear view of Horseshoe Falls just like a southwest wind will have a similar effect when viewing from Canadian Side
Cave of the winds is technically open all year but from November till May the extended docks and Hurricane Deck get taken down during that time then get rebuilt every May
Whether you have one day or many, I would say make sure you do cave of the winds and maid of the mist early. Those get the most crowded. The fireworks will fill up faster on weekends so get there early for that. Everything else Id it’ll easy to just go to one from one spot to another
Thanks for the great video, i am planning to visit US for a week and Niagra Fall as a main attraction to visit. Are rented shoes or gumboots available as it seems that shoes will get completely drenched.
They will provide you with water shoes and a poncho for the cave included in your ticket, but only a poncho for the boat. You shouldn’t need them for the boat. Have fun!
Someone said it best and it proved true. If you wanna SEE the Falls, go to the Canadian side. But if you wanna FEEL the Falls, go to the American side.
@@MagellanandGreyhound I'm more connected to nature than "boardwalk action", so I personally prefer the American side, but I think it's important to be balanced and have fun on both sides. They both have something to offer. 😊
When I went in 2022 I wanted to do cave of the winds so bad but I had a broken arm with a cast and didn’t wanna risk it but did maid of the mist like 3 times.. 🤣😂I’m going again in about 2 weeks and hopefully able to do it.
Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds are very popular and the later the day goes, the lines for tickets can get crazy. We did Cave of the Winds first, then Maid of the Mist, and then everything else afterwards. Plus, we thought it best to get wet earlier in the day and dry off haha
We have heard it’s way better lol, which is crazy because this was still really cool. We skipped that side because we’re planning on doing it along with a future trip to Toronto.

That’s our goal for next time. Heard the Canadian side is different but great in its own way too. We’re thinking a trip there and then Toronto.
Wow, what a tour! This is really awesome. Great job showing us around. I'm starting to think the American side is better. We missed so much!
I wish we did the Canadian side too, but we’re saving that for a combo trip to Toronto
Best Best Best video so far!!! You guys did an awesome job showing exactly what is needed. Ilove it and become your new fan❤
Thank you so much. You are very kind. 😁
Awesome. I can't wait to go!
Thanks for this detailed video, will finally be able to cover all these spots next weekend specially I am excited for the hurricane deck.
You're very welcome. The hurricane deck is definitely an experience. We hope you have fun!

Thanks for sharing this list. Great video too. By the way, what time does the light show and fireworks starts?

Hi Magellan and Greyhound. Good morning. How often do you travel, may i join. I like traveling and have few interesting ideas. Thanks

In what order would you do the attractions? In the order posted, or different?
Thanks
