Meaning / Story behind the song:
When we first heard Rachel Platten's "Fight Song" we were inspired by its message. In a world where we too often talk about our differences, we have at least one thing in common. We all struggle. Not in the same way, nor at the same level, but we all want a fighting chance. And we all share in one gift: The will to make the most of our lives. To take what we've been given and turn it into something better could be considered the sentient measuring stick of success. But to do so seldom is simple and more often requires we fight. Not against each other. But against the current threatening to drown the ambition in us.
There is a tremendous purpose in struggle. It is when the struggle becomes so fierce that we must fight to swim or sink. John Newton, who penned "Amazing Grace," worked on a slave trader ship and condoned inhuman atrocities. As his ship was on the verge of being torn apart in a violent storm he called out for Grace. Once his feet were again planted on firm soil he determined to change. His covenant was written into these words,
"I once was lost, but now I'm found; was blind, but now I see."
Grace is the defining moment when we face and fight a monster poised to define us or destroy us.
This song and video for us were a struggle, but a beautifully defining one. We chose the Scottish culture to depict the dichotomy between Grace and struggle. Who else is tough enough and yet delicate enough to don a kilt in battle? And the Scottish pipe and drum are the ultimate conveyors of melody and cadence. One represents Grace, the other the indomitable fight. Our dream was to film one of the most iconic castles on the Earth, Eilean Donan Castle in Dornie, Scotland.
Grace somehow made this video possible. We had to postpone our trip to Scotland several times, and when we could no longer postpone we had to leap in faith because... READ THE FULL STORY HERE: smarturl.it/am...

I am 94 yrs. old and I absolutely love how the Piano Guys do this song. I play it over and over and never get tired of it. I also love Scotland and the Bagpipes and hope to go there before I leave this earth. Edna Carr, Cornish, ME
Just go! Leave next month! It's worth it
Go Edna, go in the month of September. Alba gu Brath. God Speed.
Have fun!
I hope you achieve that dream.
God bless you.
My brother died by suicide a week ago. Yesterday we played this song as they walked his casket to his grave. The men in the family always wear kilts as a tribute to our heritage. My brother loved his kilt and was proud to wear it. We buried him in it and my family wore there’s. This song reminds me of him and I can always feel him near when I listen to it.
Hi! Sorry about your brother! One of my mom's friends has a daughter who died of Cancer a few years ago. This song was also her fight song!
God Bless You and Your Family NOW AND FOREVER!!!
My heart goes out to your entire family and those that knew him.
Remember - grief is the reminder that we have loved. When it hurts, he's the one who helps you smile through it. ❤️
Im so sorry for your loss!i send you love ❤
May his soul rest in peace, I am sorry for your loss. ♡
This is when you realise how proud you are to be Scottish. I love my home land and so proud to call it my home. SCOTLAND!!!!
Irish and Native American here and proud of my rich heritage
+Cheyenne Sprowl good for you👏
I still have yet to visit Scotland, but we're saving up for a trip. ^^ I
know I have like at LEAST four Scottish clans in my blood, Wallace
included. And to be honest, I swear I suddenly became more aware of it
in my veins just watching this. XD Can't wait to make it over there!
Anytime I see landscape shots of Scottish rolling hills, especially the Highlands, I can feel my blood screaming "go Home", and I literally have to fight back tears. Whoever directed this video has a gift! Peter Davis should seriously consider looking into hiring whoever was behind the camera of this for the(albeit, stagnating at the moment, but eventually WILL be made) remake of HIGHLANDER!
Paul Anderson & Shaye Scott, you've earned yourselves a new hardcore fan! I look forward to following your careers with GREAT interest & expectations!
My wife and I went to the Smith Center here in Las Vegas for their last show last night. I had forgotten about this song in their repertoire. My older brother had died from injuries sustained in an accident this past summer. He was a firefighter and my hero. I started bawling when they started to play and when the pipers came on stage I totally lost it. I’m still choking up writing this. Thank you The Piano Guys for an amazing show and letting me get out the emotions I have been keeping in
God blesses your brother, you, and your wife! Your brother is very happy in the haven!

I have been battling cancer for a good half a year. Every time i fall down and feel like there's no hope i go back to this song and these people remind me that im strong and that ill get through this. Thank you guys❤
It’s a marvellous song, and I’m so glad it’s giving you strength. Hang in there! As a survivor of 54 years, I feel blessed to have seen my babies grow up and have children of their own. May you, too, be blessed. As an aside, my father was born in Scotland, which I love, having visited two or three times, and Eileen Donan castle is one of our favourite places. Coincidentally, one child was there TODAY, photographing it.
❤❤❤🤗

Playing this song over and over again for my 15 yr old nephew undergoing 2 days of emergency brain surgery. I have to believe God sent this song to me
Or you could not be a dick because that's how someone finds their comfort...just sayin

Praying for you and your nephew ❤
I got married at this castle 18 years ago....long before drones😁 seeing this castle again and the bridge I walked down as the way to my husband to be....brought tears to my eyes. They are so talented and made a beautiful memory alive again in my soul. 💜💜💜 wish they could play this song at this castle Aug 2021 for my 20 year vow renewal. That would be awesome....just putting that out there😍

As my wife battles breast cancer, this has become our fight song. As the circle forms toward the end of the video, I am humbled as I am reminded of everyone encircling us with their prayers. She is in remission and her final chemo treatment is next week. This is a fight we will win!

How's your wife doing now?

Keep fighting God is with you. Sending prayers . I’m also in consoling and it’s helped me . I’m learning how to deal with my other emotions and coping skills for my anxiety and ptsd . I’ve drawn closer to God and when I’m scared or anxious I pray .

hang in there. ive been in depression and on the edge, but life is worth it in the end
*hugs* Oh trust me, battling depression is the hardest thing I've ever done. Having mild PTSD from a dog bite, several years of storms, bullying, and even scars from emotional trauma isn't easy. But you're not alone. Just take it one day at a time.
Never give up even when life gets hard. The Lord our Father made you in His image and loves you very much. You are unique and special and loved. Keep your head held high and face whatever life throws at you. You are amazingly brave for going through depression and PTSD. To you, and whoever else may be reading this, may the Lord bless you.

+Matheus Moreira Oh, I hate to open this Pandora's box on youtube . . .
It kind makes me annoyed to see Mormons trying to take this song. This song is about Christ the son of God that cam to save us. Mormons reject Christ's deity and therefore his ability to have done anything for us. Because of this it sort of pains me to see piano guys using these lyrics.
+Robert Thoburn Never fear, friend! As someone who's grown up Mormon, I can guarantee that we view Jesus Christ as the son of God and our Savior. We love Him and follow His teachings. If you'd like a better source than a random stranger on the internet, you can check out our site mormon.org, which is designed specially to let others know about our faith. www.mormon.org/beliefs/jesus-christ
My son literally sits up in his room and smokes weed while listening to Foo Fighters all day.
This song saved my life!! I was struggling with drug addiction and really bad depression, I would play this song repeatedly for months on end. It was my only shining light, thank you for giving me hope to live and smile again.
Once from a crash on a motorcycle breaking my neck in 2 different places and walking away from it with a minor brain injury and I can still say that I know I am a child of God!
Me too and I am so glad you are here to tell about it. This song is what has kept me going strong and staying clean for almost 6 years. Every day is a struggle but today I am here by the grace of my God. Had He not saved me on several occasions, once from addiction, once from suicide attempt, once from being badly mistreated and finall
So good to hear that God was looking after you.
@@jodidruecker9233 did you forget to switch accounts lol
@@jodidruecker9233 Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the struggles and madness in this world today, God is full of justice, mercy and love.
Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be
destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans
. The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom.
If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. He will help us through the struggle, the stress, and anything we experience in the world. It's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him through His power (not ourselves, we need Him to help us as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction).
He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if you had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place.
He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it.
He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way.
Christ says in John 16:33: I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]
- (AMPLIFIED version)
NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER. Regardless of what you've done or what you're going through you CAN make it through Jesus. Xx

Just in case anybody wants to know Jon is wearing the traditional Scottish "Ferguson Ancient Tartan" plaid, while Steven is wearing a version of the "US Air Force Reserve Band tartan" plaid adopted in 1990. A Plaid is the the name of the tartan shawl worn draped over the shoulder. This is not to be confused by the Plaid PATTERN, which is a 2 or 3 color pattern of regular shapes (usually squares). A Tartan is a regular repeating pattern that is identical both vertically and horizontally (you can turn it 90 degrees in either direction and it still looks the same)
Thanks for the explanation.

American here... Scotland looks so beautiful. I almost was stationed there when I was in the military and it got yanked out from under me. I was so disappointed.
Same here.
As you should be! When I was young, my father was deployed to a little town in Britain that hated Americans. During WWII, it had been a bomber base, and the American planes accidentally lost their load over the town due to a freak accident. We were ostracized, treated as pariahs, until the owners of the local country house took pity on us and let us live in their guest house. They would send the Scottish housemaid down to clean the place. During the winter, because of the class differences, she would try to leave her kids outside - back then "the servants didn't let their family mingle with the house". My mama was like... oh no no no... We're AMERICANS... you bring that baby in HERE where it's warm! As a result, my first playmate was the Scottish housekeepers daughter. We were so little at the time. I still remember her and her red hair. *heart hands*
I’ve only seen pictures but I think Scotland is one of the most beautiful places on this earth, along with Iceland and Switzerland. And Scottish accents are fun and the culture is beautiful.
And rightly so!
It's 2020, middle of the pandemic... This song made me cry and pray.
me too
I hear you. Isn't this just the most beautiful thing ever??

Watch this amazing music video and freshen up yout mood ❤️❤️
Was led by my grandson to pull this up just to share the sound of the bagpipes! Not sure why but became pretty emotional while listening to it! The tears were flowing! Then came back and listened to it just now. My thought was that "Amazing Grace" is my fight song! The bagpipes and other instruments are quite wonderful together!!!
Absolutely!
Fight song, amazing grace, Scotland the brave. What a combo! Love it.
Agreed!
I love the way amazing grace takes over at the end. A metaphorical masterpiece.
Amazingly, all are my favorites in one tune
saya kira saya salah dengar. wow. memang ada amazing grace di sana. great job :)
It reminds me of Brave. When the rhyme runs across the field, swirls beneath the sky, splashs from the crowd,it has a beauty can't deny.
+Jim Greda Lol It does remind meof brave also
yeah love Brave
Literally just finished watching Brave before I saw this.
+Jim Greda Yep. Bagpipes FTW!
+Jim Greda i got that vibe too
It's one of my favorite songs!!! 😍❤️😍❤️
I'm so glad that you played it!!! 😍😍😍🥹🥹🥹
Its with sadness you now listen to this upon the loss of John's beautiful daughter. Devastating. But music lifts the soul. These guys are truly gifted. Praise God.
This video was played at my grandpa's funeral. Now I wish to cherish this song with heart.🎵💖🎵
I don't get why so many people dislike bagpipes. in my opinion it's one of the best sounding instruments ever invented
+Thomas Northeast i can not agree more
+Thomas Northeast Agree totally. They make my heart sing.
ehhh I'm not disliking bagpipes but a full church organ can most definitely give it a run for its money
+The Dragon Creator as a piper I love pipe organs I have been accompanied by organs before absolutely love it.
My farts sound like bagpipes.
A lot of people don't like the sound of Bagpipes. But it is one of my favorite instruments. I love the tone and in combination with the cello and piano, it adds an amazing layer to the already powerful music.
I feel like I can do anything when I hear this cover. You guys are amazing!
I've been binge-watching the Piano Guys' vids tonight. Needless to say, I have been very emotional. Their music can invoke emotion from even the most stone-hearted people
They are awesome!
You are amazing
I work in a nursing home and played this today for a college music teacher. She played cello, piano and trombone and truly loved this video. She cannot express herself verbally too well anymore, but your music touched her soul. Thank you, thank you!
😇
That's so beautiful
No matter how many times I listen this is still one of the most amazing things I have ever listened to.
i so agree
My little sister and I use to listen to this over and over because we loved it so much. I play it for her every July 14th the day she passed in 2018. Thank you for this beautiful song that brought me so many beautiful memories with my little sis!
God bless you. God loves you ❤️
Amen
These guys do the coolest videos.
yeah
Cos they're the piano guys
+Xiang (Fortehlolz) that's it :D
+JerryRigEverything these guys should do hello by adele if they want to keep their "coolness"
+kirdot2011 Suggest it on their Facebook page. They might do it!
Saw them live just last night in Los Angles. They performed this song and some bagpipers joined them on stage for that last section - it was amazing. VERY inspirational performance. These videos honestly do The Piano Guys no justice, the music is so much better live. If they come to your town, go see them!
We really did, it was awesome. You guys did great.
I was there at that exact concert as well! It was awesome!
Just saw them in Louisville last night and had tears streaming down my face, it affected me that much, awesome!
Michael Montero
When they did it in Hershey my music teacher got to do the bag pipes for them
Saw them at njpac earlier in the year, it was amazing
Like a small boat
On the ocean
Sending big waves
Into motion
Like how a single word
Can make a heart open
I might only have one match
But I can make an explosion
And all those things I didn't say
Wrecking balls inside my brain
I will scream them loud tonight
Can you hear my voice this time?
This is my fight song
Take back my life song
Prove I'm alright song
My power's turned on
Starting right now I'll be strong
I'll play my fight song
And I don't really care if nobody else believes
'Cause I've still got a lot of fight left in me
Losing friends and I'm chasing sleep
Everybody's worried about me
In too deep
Say I'm in too deep (in too deep)
And it's been two years
I miss my home
But there's a fire burning in my bones
Still believe
Yeah, I still believe
And all those things I didn't say
Wrecking balls inside my brain
I will scream them loud tonight
Can you hear my voice this time?
This is my fight song
Take back my life song
Prove I'm alright song
My power's turned on
Starting right now I'll be strong
I'll play my fight song
And I don't really care if nobody else believes
'Cause I've still got a lot of fight left in me
👏🏽👍🏾
👍👍👍👍
I love watching the way Jon's fingers dance all over the piano! It is such a joy to watch musicians who truly love what they do.
I don't think even in my youth my hands moved that fast.
AHHHHHH FINALLY! TPG ARE NOT DEAD!
I love this arrangement, they were able to incorporate both Amazing Grace AND the Scottish style into a pop song. Not to mention the gorgeous cinematography. They never cease to amaze.
Also,
DAT KEY CHANGE THO
+Vicky Wei They just released another video earlier this month -- they certainly aren't dead, but working very hard to bring you GREAT content! :)
+Carmel E.M. I meant dead in the sense that they're not releasing as much new content. I really do appreciate their amazing work though!
+Vicky Wei if I remember some of the stuff they were talking about in their #ldsface2face interview, they did mention this song, well, not that they were performing it, but that they were recently in scottland doing a song in Scottland, and that they had like, 3 hours to shoot all the footage.
They also mentioned hawaii, but from what I've heard and with the new content, I think they've been working in a new album.
THIS IS JUST ME SPECULATING THOUGH....
+Adadave7521 They filmed "Over the Rainbow/Simple Gifts" in Hawaii a couple of years ago -- I think that's what they were talking about during the Face2Face event. They also did a song with Peter and Evynne Hollens there in March of this year. :)
+Vicky Wei Well, they released Sky Full of Stars earlier this month, Jurassic Park Sonata in June, What are Words (with Peter and Evynne Hollens) in May, I Want you Bach in March,........ And they tour for a week (sometimes more) most months.... have to write, arrange, practise and record the music before making a video and releasing it.... so I think they're releasing quite a bit of new content, IMO. :) But I am sure they appreciate your support! :)
So proud of my Scottish heritage! Love this so much!
So you should be x
Same!! I play the pipes and piano and learning ukulele love it!!
And so you should. I am super proud of my Scottish Heritage and Ancestry.
it's amazing!
I'm Irish my self. our pipes our way cooler plus we have the best booze
I remember when the piano guys released this video it was about a year after my brother passed away I was still grieving and after I saw this video I was in tears. This song was exactly what I need to hear!!!
I feel you this was my nans favourite song and she died this exact day last year
I love watching music videos where you can clearly see how much happiness playing music brings to the artist. It's brings an extra level of joy to the song.
My husband lost his battle with ALS on May 18, 2018. He loved this video and because he was a Maxwell, we played this on the boat as we remembered he and scattered his ashes. We all cried and each person shared a memory of him. It was a beautiful and touching experience. Your music added so to our memorial. Thank you.
I love seeing the cello player just smile with joy. I love seeing the piano player just have his eye close, breathing and just feeling the music. The true beauty of music ❤️
Because he's very dedicated to every song he plays!
He LOVES his cello! But I think he loves God more and it just shows in his face when he plays.
I really liked it at the beginning, the middle was good, but as soon as the bagpipes started, I lost it. Amazing Grace. the feels, the chills...AMAZING!!
Josette Rockwell i cried at this
J R Thats the power of a well played Great Highland Bagpipe. I play pipes and still I get goosebumps when I hear them start even when its only mine.
Right there with you!
So proud that I live in Scotland. The most beautiful country. The land of bagpipes and land of the brave.
You've gotta be kidding me. Nothing can be this beautiful.
- BreyerBalletFun - 0:33 IKR
Who else heard the little AMAZING GRACE sample toward the end?
I loved it.
Toward the end? That's what the cello starts playing in the beginning and it starts to get woven end during the rest. Incredible mix up, that's for sure.
@@BryonLape and don't forget Scotland the Brave too
(not sure if this is just a repeat of my reply, my internet connection was lost when i was sending my previous reply, so pardon me if this is a duplicate)
At what time stamp? I can't seem to hear it. Unless there's another song titled "Amazing Grace" that does not go like "Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me."
@@aronpacino8009 1:16 till end... with clearest sample from 3:09 till end... The "Amazing Grace" is very clear from 3:09, and you can even hear "Scotland the Brave" from that timestamp forward
@@benywidodo I still can't understand. But are we referring to the same "Amazing Grace"? The only "Amazing Grace" I know goes by the alternate title "Broken Vessels". Maybe you have another song with similar title in mind.
From Montreal Canada here (a virus hot zone right now). This song is my 'fight song'. Every morning I hold my two babies and we dance to it. Then I hand my boys to their dad and go to work at the hospital.
Thankyou for giving us strength to go through the day.
More than half my ancestors come from the British Isles, all of the inhabited ones. This piece always brings tears to my eyes. They start running down my cheeks as the clansmen march over the footbridge to the castle and they don't stop until a bit after the recording ends. Bagpipes have always stirred my emotions, but this? This takes it a few steps beyond.
💝
OMG who else is crying? This is so amazing!
Me..
I am because my bunny passed the day after this was made
That and because it is beautiful
+Charlotte Moore : so sorry to hear this..hope you're ok? Sending a hug..Rebecca Dwyer.
me!
To this day I always will hold a special place in my life for this song. 4 years ago I was told I needed surgery to save my life and was terrified of what would happen to me. For the weeks up to the date I listened to this song on repeat nonstop and even as I walked into surgery I had it playing. It's such a strong combination of two songs I've always loved, and they will always remind that no matter what happens that I am strong, that I can take on anything life throws at me and will overcome it. I've had 5 surgeries since then and every time I listen to this one song to keep that fire burning bright inside! Keep it up guys, your work does inspire everyone who listens!!!
Great news Vicky, keep on being positive and you'll survive whatever is thrown at you. I've proven that myself when I was told that a health problem I was diagnosed with had no cure and would only get worse over time. WRONG.
God bless you! 🙏❤️
My ancestors are Scottish, and I swear every time I hear the bagpipe it feels like Scotland is calling me home.
I love this song.
What a wonderful life to be able to play music like this? How do you live with this capability and live a 'normal life'? I'm just so taken away! I'm not even capapble of singing a note in tune but oh so love music like this!!!! I thank you for giving me this gift of music!!!!!
this makes me so proud, I have so much love for our home
Why did I just get the chills?
Oh yeah I'm standing in snow.
I get chills everytime I listen to this!
Lol!
poor Tachanka u need a buff
HaHa... Actually, around a month ago, it snowed in my area!!
Our Lord and Savior Edupes hi alan
Stevens smile when he plays makes me smile! He is music. I love it guys. 😍 thank you for this great song!
absolutely love this comment! feel exactly same)
That is my favorite part of all their videos! I love the joy on his face!
This song always makes my Blue eyes smile. Thank you Jesus for your AMAZING GRACE!!!
i found myself waving my hands a bit like a conductor, imagining myself in a crowd of ppl, all of us slowly conducting together in random patterns. its really cool if you do it and then really get busy with it on the chorus. love the scenery and outfits.
also, there seem to be a lot of ppl in need of a serious hug, just saying
ronnie caple I do that to most of TPG videos
I do my cardio interval training to this song 😉
Different strokes for different folks
This is a teenage girl from Taiwan.
This video is means a lot to me. When I'm feel broken, crying in the pillow, this song always be by my side. Also "Amazing Grace" was my father's favorite song . He was gone for 3 years, I'm still open it while I miss him 😭 I'm really thanks a lot of The Piano Guys what to do, to make the world and me get better.
You have the strength of guardian angels to hold you up always 💖
When we miss someone, it's because of the hole they leave when they move to the Other Side. That hole is there because of the good they did in our lives. If there's a hold, it means they lived a life that meant something. Your father had a life that was worth living. And you carry it on. Every day. He's part of you. And that part is still here.
That look of pure joy that shows on master musicians faces when they play something that moves them like that makes me remember why I became a musician.
My family has been to this castle. It’s beautiful how it’s surrounded by water on 3 sides. The highlands are so wonderful. You just never want to leave Scotland.
You know what one thing that gets me in every single one of your videos? (other than the gorgeous landscapes of course)
That look of absolute joy in your faces every time you play. It just makes my heart swell. And when the bagpipes came in.. I swore I almost teared up. It was beautiful.

"Whether you eat, or drink, or whatever it is you do, do it for the glory of God"
Whether you're Christian or not, you can't deny they're praising God.
+Martian Fusion [TRUTH]
+Martian Fusion That's exactly what this video made me realise. I don't share their exact beliefs, but there is no doubt that they consider their music to be connected with their spirituality. That really shone through in this video and made the experience of watching it far more meaningful to me. Makes me want to practice harder so I can give my all when I play clarinet in church :)
Yes that is the most amazing thing about their music, they enjoy it soo much! And if they don't they make a huge effort to make it look like they do!
+KunamaElgar You may have seen videos of Jon and Steve goofing around on stage and having fun, and while that's part of who they are, what you see and feel from them in this video is much closer to the heart of who they are. BTW, Jon played rugby in high school, and the name of his school was Highland High, not far from where I live in Salt Lake City. Pretty neat, huh?
My maternal Grandmother from Glasgow, when she passed buried in full dress of the Maxwell Clan and laid to her rest with the pipes and drums.....hearing the passion of the pipes and drums always makes me cry ....
I wish I had found this when my Pappy was alive. He would've absolutely loved this.
Pinano guys, drummers, bagpipers, this is our own fight song, and I adore every one of you.. God bless everyone of you. Uffdah, how beautiful we are together. SINCERELY P.S.
I am part of an adult ballet class and we are doing our recital dance to this song. I am so excited about it. We all love this song!
Sounds absolutely amazing. I lost my dad to a freak accident in 2011 and me and him loved bagpipes. This brings back so many memories of him. He would have absolutely loved this. God bless
Who else was amazed by these guys talents

The combination of gorgeous landscape infused with a multitude of other melodies superimposed with individual expression is nothing short of magic.
I like that we can hear "amazing grace" toward end of this song. Right..We live & fight by Jesus's amazing grace everyday. Thanks Jesus christ!
Why am I watching this now......... I'm starting to play the violin with my music teacher it's my favorite intstrament to play I love this video they did a really good job.I would watch this all day long. One day I want to visit Scot land ✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍
I wanted to pass along that I have loved your music for awhile, but my 14 year old daughter has decided to learn piano. Enrolling her in the world of music class at her high school, she is now beginning her piano career inspired by you. Thanks, now i've gotta buy a piano! Kidding, i'll find her one, but you have inspired her to reach out of shell that I thought I would never get her out of.
To EVERY single member of this video, thank you.......such a collaborative moving moment. Well done.
I have always enjoyed this piece when I first discovered it as a teen. As a man, it brings tears to my eyes for how beautiful it truly is.
Man, what do you say after watching that. Who takes Fight Song, thinks, "Hey, let's mash it with Amazing Grace and add a Scottish Drummer Corps and some bag pipes?!?! Only the most amazing musical geniuses of our time.
It's no nae drummer corps and some bagpipes,it's whit's caud a pipe baund.
Wait till you hear the Afrikan smashed paradise by cold play. On a cliff on a canyon, naturally
@@Martin.Wilson It is there is a few bars of that song played Martin.
